Voyage Privé

I shall say at the outset that I was rather anxious about booking a river cruise through a site I hadn't used before. The arrangements were in order from start to finish. Cabin was as described, the excursions were well timed and the staff on board were attentive without being intrusive. I'd be glad to book with them again.

The detailed itinerary and joining instructions for our river cruise arrived well ahead of departure, which I did not expect. We had a small query about the cabin grade and it was sorted within a day, though the answer was a little brief. Everything on the trip ran as described, and the coach to the boat was waiting where they said it would be.

We needed somewhere to go after a really rough year and my husband kept saying we should just stay home, so I went looking for a break we could both agree on. Found a week in Lisbon through the site and the booking was simple enough, the price was a bit higher than I'd seen elsewhere but the flights and hotel were all in one place which saved me a lot of faffing about. Would book again.

Looked at four or five options before settling on this one and it was the best value for the trip to Vienna. Hotel was central, breakfast was included and the booking flow was quick to get through. The only other thing I'd mention is that the confirmation took a minute to arrive but it came through fine.

I wanted to take my sister away for her birthday but money is tight so I was looking for something that wasn't going to clean me out. Found a weekend in Edinburgh with a decent hotel and the booking was done in about ten minutes. Everything turned up as described and the hotel staff were lovely about her birthday.

Third trip with them now and the booking process has got quicker each time, which I appreciate. The only thing I'd flag is the payment page took a bit of time to load on my phone, but once it went through the confirmation came straight away and the details were all where they should be. Happy to go back.

Compared it with booking flights and hotel on separate sites and this was quicker and I didn't have to juggle two confirmations. Price was about the same as doing it myself. Got a text reminder before check in too which was handy. Done.

Used to book everything through a high street agent and this beat it on price and on the way it showed the options. Searched a few sites before I chose this one. The villa in Mallorca was as described and the host met us at the door.

We were after a quiet week somewhere warm after the wedding season wiped us out. Booked a villa in Algarve and the price was fair. The pool was a bit cooler than the listing suggested but the rest was spot on. Support answered my question about parking within the hour.

Booked the four day Highland tour and the driver was the highlight of the whole thing. He knew every story about the glens and kept us entertained on the long drives. Accommodation was clean and the breakfasts were good.

What struck me most was the printed walking notes they sent with our Yorkshire Dales trip, which were clear and accurate. Each stage had a sensible map and the pub stops were where they said they'd be. Our hotel host had also been told to expect us, which I hadn't anticipated. A thoroughly well organised week.

Booked a city break to Copenhagen using the app on the bus. Flights and hotel were in one booking which I liked a lot. Got an update about a gate change by push notification which was useful. Bit of a fiddly seat selection but otherwise fine.

Booked the villa and private transfer from Naples together and it all went smoothly on the day. The driver was waiting at arrivals with a sign, the villa had a proper kitchen and the pool was exactly as photographed. Would happily use them again for another trip.

Checked the usual big names first and this came out cheaper for the same hotel and dates. Took about a minute to book and the confirmation came straight away. Nothing went wrong on the trip and the room was clean. Good value for a short break.

Booked the private transfer from Heathrow to our hotel in Bath. The car was on time and the driver knew the route well. I've used a few airport transfer services and this was the most reliable one yet. Good value for what it was.

Booked a weekend away on the app and had to cancel a week later. Refund took ages to show up, like 3 weeks, and I had to message them twice before anyone replied properly. Not happy about that bit.

Before I booked I had a look at a couple of the comparison sites and then at the usual high street agent, and this came out a fair bit ahead for the same hotel in Edinburgh and the same dates. I did not have to go round in circles to find it either. The whole thing was clear and I was glad of that, I am not the most patient with websites.

Needed something booked fast because my mate had a spare week and we wanted to go to Crete. Found a deal and booked it on my phone in the car. The confirmation email had everything and the hotel was right on the beach like it said.

Booked a long weekend in Bruges and the trip itself was lovely. The hotel and the tour were exactly as listed. When I needed to cancel one of the excursions the refund took a while to come through and I had to chase it once. Otherwise no complaints.
