Looked at four different lenders before going with them because the rates varied a lot. What stood out was the clear breakdown of total repayable before I had to commit to anything. Signing up took about ten minutes and I got a decision within the hour. The money arrived the same day, and I can see every payment in the app so there's nothing to chase.
Read moreNot a great experience for me, the verdict is that it works but it's slow. My application sat in review for almost four days with no update and I had to chase it twice. Once approved the money came through fine, and the repayment schedule was easy enough to set up, but I'd think twice if you need it urgently.
Read moreWhat stands out most is that the account page still looks the same as when I first joined, which I actually like. I've borrowed from them a few times over the years and every time the money turns up when they say it will. The app shows me the balance and the next payment date without me having to dig. Nothing has changed in the process and that suits me fine.
Read moreCompared with the high street options this came in a bit more expensive, though the value felt fair for a short term loan. The application was simple and the funds were in my account within a working day. The only thing I'd flag is that the early repayment form was buried in the site.
Needed a bit of cash for a new phone contract mess and this was the quickest option. Signed up through the portal and it told me the result straight away. Money arrived the following day, the only thing is the portal logged me out twice while I was filling it in.
I took out the personal loan to cover some home repairs and I was grateful for the repayment plan they set up. The application was straightforward and I had the money within two working days. I did find the monthly schedule a little hard to follow at first, but the adviser was patient when I rang.
They were the best option out of the four I looked at, mainly because the others wanted a week of paperwork and a branch visit. This one was all online and I had an answer within an hour. Cost a bit more than the cheapest I found but the speed made up for it for me. Not the cheapest, but the most sensible.
