CraftResumes.

Compared with the two other CV services I tried first, this one asked far more about what I actually did day to day. The other two just reworded my job description. The result sounds like me, which I wasn't expecting. Booking was simple and the price was in line with the others. Good find.

I've had CV help from them before and I needed a refresh after changing sectors. Signing up was easy enough but I waited nearly a week for anyone to confirm my order and get my details. Once the work started the rewrite was solid and the cover letter needed fewer changes than I expected. The wait put me off a bit though, and I'd want to check how long it's taking before I book again.

Having been away from the job market for some time, I was quite nervous about returning. The writer was patient and the finished letter was courteous without being stiff. The delivery was prompt and the correspondence was clear. I am pleased with the outcome.

I needed a personal statement for a masters application and had no idea where to begin. Started on a Tuesday and had a draft back by the Friday. Took a couple of edits to get it sounding like me but it's the best thing in my application.

Got a mate to look at my CV first and he just said add more keywords. The service I used instead rewrote the whole thing and cut it down to two pages. Quicker on my phone than I expected to sign off the draft too. Sorted.

I was made redundant with a week's notice and had a job application due the following Monday, so I needed someone to tidy up my CV fast. I filled in the questionnaire about what I actually did each day, which took longer than I expected but was worth it. The finished document came back in two days and read like something a recruiter would write.

I ordered a full CV review for my return to the workforce after a long break raising my children. The writer was courteous and tactful about the gap in my employment, which I was rather anxious about. The finished document presents my volunteering in a manner I would not have thought of myself. I am grateful for the care taken, and I'd happily recommend it to friends in a similar position.

Went with them rather than a friend's cousin who does CVs on the side, mainly because the site showed a clear process and a turnaround time. Compared with the cousin, they asked far more questions up front and the finished document read like a proper professional wrote it. The cousin would have been cheaper but I'd have spent a week chasing him. Happy with it.

The price on the cover letter was a fair bit higher than some of the other services I looked at, and I'd have liked a bit more for the money. What stood out was the rewrite of my personal statement, which was much tighter than my draft. Delivery took about four days, which was fine. Not the cheapest but I got what I paid for.

I've used CraftResumes three times now, once for a redundancy and twice for promotions I was going for internally. The rewrites have always come back tidy and sensible, and they picked up things I'd stopped noticing about my own work. The only bit I'd change is the turnaround, which was a few days longer than the page suggested when I used it for the second time. Still, I'd go back if I needed to.

Bought the CV and cover letter bundle for a project manager role. The draft came back tidy and the writer kept my own wording where it mattered. Good structure, sensible keywords, nothing over the top.

I went for the basic CV rewrite because I was on a tight budget and wanted to keep costs down. What I got was a clear, well laid out document with the dates and achievements in the right order, and I didn't feel I'd been pushed into buying extras. The turnaround was quick and the draft needed only minor changes from me. Really good value for a job search that's stretched my money.

I required a curriculum vitae for a consultancy post after a career in local government, and I was unsure how best to present such a long record. The writer was attentive to my wishes and condensed thirty years into two sensible pages. The correspondence was prompt and civil throughout. It is a service I would commend to any gentleman of my vintage.

Ordered the basic CV rewrite on a Sunday night and had the draft back by Tuesday lunchtime, which was quicker than I expected. The questions at the start were short and to the point so I didn't spend ages filling them in. For the money it did what I needed and the layout is clean. Not much else to say, it just did the job.

Fair price for a proper rewrite and the finished CV looks like it was done by someone who knows recruitment. Got it back in a few days and it has done the job, I've had two calls since.

The questionnaire asked me to describe my day to day work in plain words, and that's the bit that made the final CV much better than I'd have written. I'd looked at a couple of other options first and this was the only one that asked. Got my CV back in a few days and it's clearly written for me.

Needed a personal statement sorted for a masters application and didn't have a clue where to start. Signed up on the site, filled in the form and the draft came back in about a week. It was a bit more expensive than I'd hoped but they made my dissertation sound way more impressive than I did. Good stuff.

I've written CVs for years in recruitment and I've used a couple of the bigger template sites, so I know what a good draft looks like. This one asked more pointed questions about outcomes and figures than the others did, which meant the result read more like a proper rewrite than a tidy-up. The price is a bit above the template sites, and I'd have liked the revisions to be included instead of an extra charge.

I bought the CV and cover letter bundle for a project manager role I really wanted. I compared a few services first, and the bundle was clearly the better deal than paying for each piece separately. The cover letter picked out the right parts of my experience and cut the waffle I'd put in. My CV came back in about three days and I got an interview within the fortnight.

Honestly the linkedin profile rewrite was the bit that got me. My headline went from just saying my job title to actually saying what I do. Got a recruiter message the same week. Would use again!
