Didn't realise the lift up was so smooth and quiet, you barely notice you're going up at all. We went in the early afternoon with my two kids and they loved spotting the landmarks, the staff were patient with the little one and let us stay at the window longer than the queue would normally allow. Tickets were easy to get on the site and we got through the entrance without much waiting.
Read moreI did think the view would match the London Eye, which I had been up before, but it was a good deal smaller and the sightlines were a bit blocked by the glass. The staff were very polite and the lift was clean, though I did find the booking page rather fiddly to navigate.

The one thing I would mention is that the seating area was rather cramped when the deck was busy, though I did manage to find a spot near the window in the end.

Vue Orleans Observation Deck is an observation attraction in New Orleans that offers visitors elevated views over the city and the Mississippi River.
