The refund process for a cancelled room took longer than it should, around three weeks, and the reminder emails were a bit pushy. For a quick search it's useful, but I'd still check the hotel's own site for anything complicated.

Compared to the other booking app I usually use this one had a lower price for the same hotel in Amsterdam. The map was easy to use and the photos loaded quick. Only minor thing was that the room type I wanted was labelled differently and I had to check twice. Still happy with it though.
We needed to get to Glasgow at short notice for a funeral and the flights plus a hotel came out cheaper when booked together on the site than when I checked each one separately. The only thing I'd flag is that the hotel had a different check-in time to what I expected, so read the small print before you pay.

I would say this is a sound way to book a short break, and I found the booking process perfectly clear. I did wonder whether the price shown at the start would be the one I paid, and in the end it was, which I was glad of. My only small quibble is that the site is rather busy with adverts, but I managed well enough.
