SPOTAHOME is an online platform for finding and booking rental accommodation, with listings covering apartments, rooms and short and long stays in cities across Europe and beyond. The company operates primarily through its website and mobile app, where renters can search properties, communicate with hosts and manage bookings from a single account. The platform serves students, professionals relocating for work and travellers seeking a home rather than a hotel stay.
SPOTAHOME positions itself around verified listings and direct communication between tenants and property owners, with a support team available to assist with reservations and issues that arise during a stay. Customers can read reviews from previous guests before committing to a property, which forms part of how the service is judged by those who use it.

Needed somewhere fast
Needed a place sorted quick because my contract ended with no notice and I was stuck. Found something on the site within an evening and messaged the host from my phone on the bus. Got the keys the following week, which saved my skin honestly.

Booked a flat in leeds

rented a room in bristol

We were grateful for how clearly everything was explained and the paperwork arrived promptly, which made the move much less…

Compared this against two other rental platforms before picking it. The listings were roughly on a par with the others and the prices were not obviously lower. The booking itself was fine, though the host took a couple of days to confirm the viewing dates.
Not as good as the big agent
Had a flat through a local agent before, and this site is quicker to browse but the back and forth with the landlord took longer than I'd like. The place itself was fine, just a bit smaller than the photos made it look. Paid a little more in the end than the listing initially suggested.
