Spa Breaks

What sold me was the choice of hotels with proper spa facilities and not just a pool in the basement. I'd looked at a couple of other sites first and they were mostly city hotels with a tiny gym. Booking was simple and the weekend in Harrogate was just what we wanted, so we'll be back.

Looked at three or four options before picking this one, mainly because we wanted a spa break for our anniversary and not a generic hotel stay. Booking took a while as the site kept timing out, then it all worked. Cheaper than the others we checked and the hotel in Lake District was lovely.

Needed to sort a birthday present for my wife quickly as I'd forgotten until the weekend before. Picked a spa day in Brighton with a facial and lunch and booked it on the site while waiting for the kettle. Confirmation came through straight away and the day itself was well organised. She was over the moon.

The hotel was very pleasant and the spa was clean and quiet, which was just what we wanted for our weekend in Harrogate. I did find the refund for a cancelled treatment took a little while to reach my account, though it did arrive in the end. Would be glad to use them again.

The hotel had a proper spa with a hot tub and steam room, and the room was clean. Only niggle was the wifi in the spa was patchy, but I didn't mind much. Would use again for sure.

We've now booked the same hotel again for next autumn, so that tells you most of what you need to know.
