Best place to stay in London as far as I'm concerned, and I've been coming for over twenty years. The rooms have been kept up nicely and the staff remember us. Nothing else to add really.

The trouble started when we tried to add breakfast, as the page kept timing out and I had to ring the hotel to sort it. Once everything was confirmed the stay itself was fine, but I'd have liked the booking to be smoother.

Breakfast was extra which annoyed me a bit, but the room was big enough for two and the bed was good. Check-in was quick and the card payment went through first time. Good value for a central London weekend, and I'd book the same way again.
Read moreMy dad was having tests at the hospital nearby and we needed somewhere close that wasn't miles from the wards. Looked at a couple of places near the station but this was the closest. Booking was simple. Only niggle was the room was a bit warm and the air con took a while to cool it down, but otherwise fine.
I know the riverside hotels pretty well from years of business trips, and this one sits comfortably at the nicer end compared to the others I've used. The rooms are well laid out and the bed was excellent. The only niggle was the wifi dropped a few times on the top floor, but the desk sorted it quickly.
Needed somewhere in walking distance of the venue for a gig and this was the nearest decent one. Booked on the site the night before, no fuss. Room was small but it was just for sleeping. Lift was slow at checkout time though.
I'd compared a few hotels in the area and the price here was one of the better ones. What stood out most was how grand the lobby is, it's a lovely building. Check in took a while as there was only one person on the desk, but once we were up the room was fine.
