The details on the listing were exactly right, and I say that as someone who has been disappointed before. We were met at the door by the host who showed us the heating controls and the nearest chemist. Payment was straightforward and the receipt arrived by email the same day. A pleasant and reliable stay.
Read moreBooked a hotel room in Brighton expecting a sea view. The room we got was at the back, next to the bins, and the bathroom was tired. Staff at the front desk were polite but could not move us. Not what I paid for.
Read moreWe needed somewhere quiet to stay for my husband's recovery after his knee operation, and a holiday let near the coast seemed the sensible answer. The booking process was clear and the confirmation arrived within minutes. The host had left the place spotless and the instructions for the keys were very easy to follow. We were looked after without any fuss, and I would happily book again.
Read moreThe flat in Edinburgh was lovely and the details matched what was on the listing. The only niggle was the key collection, which needed a code sent by text that took a while to arrive on the morning we were due in. Once we were inside everything was as we hoped.
Compared with booking direct with the cottage owner, this was a bit more expensive once the service fee was added. The stay itself was fine and the place was as described. Customer support replied to my question the same day, which I appreciated.
I needed a ground floor room with step free access for my sister's visit, and I was grateful the filter made that easy to find. The property was clean and the host answered my questions about the lift promptly. The only small irritation was the checkout reminder email, which arrived twice. Otherwise all very satisfactory.
Yeah good, booked a Friday to Sunday in the Lake District and got what I wanted. Only thing is the app kept logging me out when I tried to message the host, so had to use email. Otherwise smooth and cheap enough for a weekend away.
