Honestly the thing that got me was that I installed the eSIM while standing in the lift at the airport and it just worked, no need for a shop or a card. I'd never used one before so I was a bit nervous but the instructions on the site were clear enough. Data came on as soon as I landed in Lisbon and I've been using maps all week without a single problem. Will keep it for the next trip.

Works well enough for scrolling and maps abroad. Took a bit of time to get the QR code to load on my phone but it sorted itself out. Good value for the price.
Needed data for Japan and didn't want to fork out for roaming. Ordered it the night before the flight, the QR code came through quick. Only thing was the install took a few goes because the code kept timing out, but a second try worked. Data is good so far.
The QR code took a few tries to scan so I got it working on the second go. Signal is good in Amsterdam. Would be nice if the email said to switch on roaming straight away.
I bought the 30 day Europe eSIM before a work trip to Germany and Belgium. I'd looked at a few travel sims first and this one came out cheapest for the data I needed. It connected fine in both countries and the app shows how much data is left, which I liked. The only niggle is the data runs out a bit quicker than I expected when I'm using the hotspot. Still good value.
I did find the setup a little fiddly, as I had to switch on data roaming before the signal would appear. The email with the code arrived promptly, and once I had sorted that out the service was dependable on my trip to Scotland, and quite good for the price. I would ask a younger relative to help you if you are not confident with phones.
