I signed up for the smart thermostat add on with my boiler cover last spring. The engineer fitted it in about an hour and set up the app on my phone while he was here. The app works well for scheduling the heating when I'm at work, and it's been reliable through the cold snaps. Support questions get answered quickly through the chat.
Read moreOur heating packed in on a Sunday so I booked a call out on the site. Engineer turned up Tuesday, which was fine, but he didn't have the part so we waited again. Took ages to get it sorted in the end.
Read moreThe loan application was the first thing I noticed, it took maybe fifteen minutes on my phone and asked only what I needed to know. Approval came through the same afternoon and the money landed in my account the next working day. I've not had to repay anything yet so can't speak to that side. Customer support had an answer for my question within the hour when I messaged them.
Read moreHonestly the quickest home service I've used. Booked on the app Monday night and the engineer came Tuesday morning. Only small gripe is the app is a bit slow to load sometimes.
Compared to paying an emergency plumber every time something goes wrong, this has saved me a fair bit. The yearly plan costs more upfront but I've had two repairs covered already. The only annoyance was the email reminders being a bit too frequent.
The first thing I noticed was how quick the sign up was, maybe ten minutes on the laptop, and it showed me the price before I had to put any card details in. I signed up for the basic cover on a rented flat. The only thing that slowed me down was having to dig out the boiler make and model. Otherwise fine.
