I signed up for the smart thermostat add on with my boiler cover last spring. The engineer fitted it in about an hour and set up the app on my phone while he was here. The app works well for scheduling the heating when I'm at work, and it's been reliable through the cold snaps. Support questions get answered quickly through the chat.

Read moreThe loan application was the first thing I noticed, it took maybe fifteen minutes on my phone and asked only what I needed to know. Approval came through the same afternoon and the money landed in my account the next working day. I've not had to repay anything yet so can't speak to that side. Customer support had an answer for my question within the hour when I messaged them.

We needed cover on an older boiler and this was the cheapest we could find that still covered the main parts. Signing up took a while because it asked for lots of details about the boiler. The engineer visit was fine and the price has stayed put so far.
Cover does what it says and the price was the reason I went with them over the others I looked at. The sign up took a while because I had to upload documents twice. After that it was fine, nothing special but no real problems either.
