A better option than hiring a room

Compared with hiring a hotel conference room, this worked out far more sensible for our small charity board meetings. Booking was straightforward over the phone and the room was ready when we arrived. The staff were courteous and the refreshments were pleasant. We'll certainly continue using it.

Meeting room booked for a training day

Booked a meeting room for a training day through the online form. The room was fine but the projector was a bit temperamental and it took two calls to get it working. Price was about what I expected for the room and the catering I added. The invoice came through a couple of days later than I was told.

Needed a proper base for a client

I needed somewhere professional to meet a new client after my flat became far too cramped for meetings. I'd never used a serviced centre before so I was nervous about the process. Signing up was mostly easy, though the confirmation email took a day to arrive and I had to chase it. Once I was in, the meeting room was spot on and the coffee was decent.

Needed a desk for the new job

I needed a desk close to home after starting a remote role that needed me in the office twice a week. Looked at a few options and this was the cheapest for what I got. Signing up took a bit of paperwork but the team sorted it quickly. The desk is comfortable, the kitchen is stocked and the wifi is reliable, which is what I wanted.

Easy booking and a nice space

Booked a desk for the day on my phone while waiting for the bus. Took a minute, the room was ready and the coffee was actually decent. Plenty of plug sockets too, which I needed.

needed somewhere to meet clients

Needed a meeting room for a client pitch at short notice and this came up on a search. Booked it on my phone during the commute and it was confirmed straight away. Room was clean with a screen that connected first time. Got the job, so that's a win.

Hot desk membership

I've used a few of these centres over the years so I know what to expect. This is a monthly hot desk membership with access to any site in the network, which I use when I'm travelling for work. Sign up through the website was painless. The one niggle is the booking system sometimes shows a desk as free when it isn't, but reception always sorts it out.

quicker than the other place

Compared to the other place I checked, booking a room here was much quicker, I had a confirmation in minutes instead of waiting for a callback. The room itself was a bit small for six people but fine for four. Parking was a faff and the ground floor kitchen was busy, but the staff were helpful when I asked for an extra chair.

sensible cost for a small firm

The first thing I noticed was that the monthly fee covered rates, bills and the internet, so there were no surprise extras. I run a small accountancy practice and wanted to keep overheads down. Setting it up through the portal was straightforward and the team were on hand when I had questions about parking. Good value for a small firm like mine.

best option I looked at

This is the one I went with after comparing three or four places near the station. Honestly it's the best value for a small team that needs a few days a week. Booking the day desk took two minutes and the room was there when I walked in. Staff sorted the printer without me asking.

Needed a base for my business

I needed a professional base for my bookkeeping business after working from the kitchen table for too long. I've been a member for a few years now and the team still treats me like I matter. The mail handling is first class and the rooms are always clean. Renewal is simple and the price hasn't crept up unexpectedly.

Cheaper than a full office

Compared with signing a full lease, a serviced office here saved me a fair bit on the first year once you add up rates, insurance and cleaning. The price is all-inclusive which makes budgeting easy. The team kept the broadband working and reception took parcels for us. No complaints about the value at all.

it's the way to go

Verdict: it's the way to go if you want to avoid the admin of running an office yourself. I'd used the business centre over the road before and this is far better kept. The staff know what they are doing with the booking system and the rooms are well laid out. The price is fair for what you get in the London area.

better than the virtual office I had before

Compared to the virtual office I was using before, having a real desk I can actually work from is a huge step up. Signing up was easy and the first month was sorted within the hour. I've not had any issues with the locker or the post since. The space is quieter than I expected.

booked a private office for the team

Booked a private office for four of us through the website, took about ten minutes to sign up and we were in the next week. The room had decent desks and the chairs were comfortable. Reception sorted our phone lines and printer access without us having to chase anyone. Quick, simple, does the job, no complaints from the team.

Booking was easy but the room was slow

Booked a meeting room through the app on my way to work and it was done in a minute. The room was fine but the projector took ages to connect and reception had to come up twice. Not a major issue, just a bit of a wait before the meeting started.

The price per desk stood out

What struck me first was the price per desk compared to the others I looked at. A couple of places wanted more for the same size room. The booking itself was fine but the reception was slow to answer my questions.

Booked a day desk

Booked a day desk on the app for a Tuesday. Got there and the booking wasn't showing up at reception so they had to sort it out by hand, took ages. Desk was fine once I got sat down but i was annoyed about losing the first half hour of my day.
