I booked a fencing contractor for a new run of panels along the side garden. He turned up as agreed, measured properly and the posts are straight. Only quibble is the payment screen was a bit fiddly on my tablet, took me two goes to get it through.

Used to go through an agency for dog walking and this is so much easier. Found a walker on here in like ten minutes, pay through the app and no weird admin fee. Walker showed up every day, sent photos, the dog was happy.

Compared with the agency I used last year this worked out cheaper for a regular cleaner once a fortnight. The cleaner is good and does the same tasks each time. Only thing is the fortnightly rebooking is a bit of a faff, I have to reconfirm each time.

Lower than what I'd have paid going direct to a joiner. I've used agencies for years and know roughly what a day's work should cost. Job was a new internal door fitted, done properly, and the bloke was on time.

Honestly didn't expect much but the whole thing took like two minutes to book on my phone. Needed someone to walk my mate's dog while he was at work and the walker turned up early and sent a pic. Price was fine, nothing mad. Easy one, would book again.

This was my first time using a site like this and I was a bit unsure at first. Compared to ringing round local firms for a boiler service, it was so much quicker to compare people and book. The engineer arrived on the day and the price stayed the same, which was reassuring.

My son's GCSEs were three weeks away and he was struggling with maths. I found a tutor through the site on a Sunday evening and had someone booked for the Tuesday. The first session went really well and he's already more confident.

I needed a gardener to clear the back border before my daughter visited, which is why I went looking. The gardener was thorough and did a good job on the hedges. It did take a couple of days to get a reply to my first message though, which was a bit of a worry given the timing.

Had a look at a few other sites first, including one of the big names, and this one came out ahead for the price. I wanted a deep clean before we moved out of our rental and the cleaner they matched me with turned up on time and did the oven and the skirting boards properly. Booking took about five minutes on the app and I got a text the night before to confirm the time. Would use again.

Honestly a bit disappointed with this one. I booked a plumber through the site for a leak under the sink and the first person they sent cancelled the morning of, then the replacement turned up two hours late with no call.

I booked an annual boiler service through the site in the spring and the engineer who came out was patient with me asking questions about the controls. He explained everything clearly and left the flat tidy. I had to wait nearly two weeks for an appointment though, which was a bit longer than I expected. Price was fair and the confirmation came through straight away.

I booked a man with a van to shift a wardrobe and a sofa across town. He arrived ten minutes early, had blankets with him, and the sofa went up the stairs without a scratch. The price quoted was the price I paid, which I appreciated.

I booked a removal man for a one bed flat. The profile photos made him look like he had a proper team, but it was just him and a mate. The job got done but took longer than I was told and the van was smaller than I expected.

We needed an emergency locksmith after locking ourselves out of the house with the baby inside the car seat in the hall. Someone was at the door within the hour, polite and efficient, and the new lock was fitted before tea. The price was clear before he started, which I appreciated.

Compared with the big booking platforms this one is cheaper by a noticeable margin for the same kind of job. Used it to get a decorator in to do two rooms. Quote was clear, he sent a photo of the prep work and the finish is spot on.

I am very pleased with the handyman I was put in touch with. He fitted a new towel rail and sorted a dripping tap, and he explained what he was doing as he went along, which was kind of him. Booking was simple and he finished when he said he would.

Honestly it does the job but the sign up process was longer than I wanted. I had to upload my insurance and a couple of references before I could book anyone, which took most of an evening. Once through, the cleaner I was sent was good and reliable.

Needed a babysitter for a Friday night with no notice and this saved me. Someone was free within the hour and she was really nice with my two. Got a message at the end asking how it went, nice touch.

Booked a caterer for a small birthday lunch and the food was really good. The menu options were clear and the person I dealt with replied within the hour. Staff were polite and cleared up after themselves.

Honestly the quickest I've ever got someone booked. Posted a job on the app at lunch and had a plumber come round before 6, cheap as well. Sorted my leaking tap and didn't have to ring round six different firms like I usually do. Would do it again no question.
