I've been using this lender on and off for about six years now, and the service has stayed consistent. Compared with the bank I used to deal with, the online process is far less bother, with no queuing or waiting for a callback. The most recent loan was approved within the hour and the money came through the following day. Repayments continue to be taken on time without fuss.
Read moreCompared with the other lender I used a few years back, this one took noticeably longer to approve me. I was asked for an extra proof of address which held things up for almost three days. Once it was sorted the money came through and the repayments have been fine. Not the fastest, but I'd still use them again if I needed to.

Compared with what I was paying before, the total cost is lower and the repayment date is fixed, which makes budgeting easier. The application was quick and the approval came back the same day. The application itself was simple enough to complete at the kitchen table. I did find the document upload fiddly, as the page kept timing out and I had to start one section again. Once that was sorted the money came through promptly and the repayment details were clearly set out.
I took out a small personal loan to cover the cost of replacing our boiler, which had given up in the middle of January. I'd rather they had asked for a few more documents up front, as I had to send my bank statements twice. The money did arrive promptly once approved, and the repayment schedule was laid out very clearly, which I appreciated.
I needed a short loan to cover some unexpected bills, and I was grateful for the straightforward way the application was laid out. The approval came through fairly promptly, though I did wait a couple of days for a reply to my query about the repayment date. When I eventually spoke to someone they were polite and helpful. The funds arrived on the agreed date and the repayments have been taken without trouble.
The app is actually decent, the bit I liked most was being able to see my repayment dates without ringing anyone. Applied on it last month and got a yes pretty quick. Money took a bit longer than I thought to show up though, like a day.
