compared to my old provider

Compared with the provider I used before, this one feels a bit more modern and the app is clearer to use. The only niggle is that the welcome emails came through a little slowly, so I had to dig out the activation code myself. The cover itself has been reliable for years now.

Good so far, bit of a wait on support

Signing up was pretty smooth and the protection has been running fine on my laptop since I got it. I did have to wait about two days for a reply when I had a question about the renewal date, which was a bit annoying. Otherwise I've no real complaints.

Needed it for uni laptop

Needed something for my uni laptop after it got a virus during exam season. Bought the cover through the site on a Sunday night and it was sorted by the time I woke up. Install was dead easy, only thing is it kept nagging me to upgrade for a month or so.

needed protection for my business laptop

I needed protection for my work laptop after a client's email turned out to be a scam. I looked at a few options and this one was the easiest to set up. Cover has been running for a couple of months without fuss.

First time with them and fine

The first thing I noticed was how quickly the activation email came through after I paid, which was a relief as I'd been worried about waiting around. The setup walked me through each step and I didn't need to ring anyone. The only small thing was the welcome email being a bit long, but I got through it.

ok but the renewal came as a surprise

Honestly the protection itself is good and I have no complaints about how it works on my laptop. I was surprised when the renewal came through at a higher price than I had been quoted at the start. I did ring them to ask about it and they were polite, though it took a while to get through. I would have appreciated a clearer warning before the charge went out.

Bought the cover for the family pc

I bought the cover for the family PC and a tablet, and the price per device worked out sensible for us. Setup took a bit of reading but once it was running it stayed quiet and out of the way. The alerts when something looks suspicious have been helpful, and I've felt much more at ease online.

Compared with my old provider

I was with another antivirus firm for years and this one came in noticeably cheaper for the first year. Setting it up on my husband's computer was straightforward, though I did need to ring them once. Everything has run quietly since.

Compared to the one I had before

Compared with the antivirus I had before, this one is less of a drain on the laptop, which I noticed straight away. The downside is the customer support took a couple of days to reply when I had a question about my renewal. Once that was sorted the protection has been fine.

best of the ones I tried

This was the one I went with in the end. I tried three others first and the difference was mainly in how easy the setup was. Protection runs in the background and the alerts are sensible.

Tried a few before settling

I tried a few options before settling on this, and the difference came down to how simple the account page was to use. Installing across my home office setup took very little time. It runs fine and I've not had to think about it since.

First time with them, happy so far

This is my first time using them and I'm happy so far. Signing up took about five minutes and the cover started straight away. The app is easy to use and I've not had any problems.

sensible for a small office

The licence key arrived in the email within a minute of paying, and the multi device setup works well for our four machines. Real time scanning is on by default, so I didn't have to touch the settings.

Got the premium one in the end

I went with the premium plan after comparing a few cheaper ones, mainly because it covers my phone as well as the laptop. The account page is easy to find things on, and the app shows what it's blocked without making me dig around for it. Happy with it.

family plan for four devices

We went for the family plan covering four devices, two laptops and two phones, which I thought was good value for what we needed. Adding the phones took a few minutes each and the app walked me through it nicely. It has caught a dodgy download already, so I am glad we bothered.

Needed something for my grandson's laptop

I needed something to protect my grandson's laptop, since he's always clicking on things he shouldn't. The sign up was clear and I was guided through each step on the screen. It has been running quietly since and the family find it easy enough.

Compared a few before picking this

I compared a few options before picking this one, mostly on price and what the reviews said about support. Norton came out ahead of the others for me because the account page is much clearer and I could see my devices without digging around. Setting it up took about ten minutes and the protection has been running quietly on my laptop since then, which is exactly what I wanted from it.

Needed it for my gaming pc

Needed something for my gaming PC because my little brother keeps downloading dodgy stuff. Got it sorted in about ten minutes on my phone. Runs fine, no lag while I'm playing.

Renewal price was not what I expected

I was quite surprised to find the renewal price had gone up when the email came through, as I had assumed the first year discount would carry on a bit longer. I did ring them to ask about it and the person I spoke to was pleasant enough, though it took a few days before anyone came back to me with an answer. I'd have appreciated a clearer warning before it was taken from my card.

Good value for the price

The first year price was the thing that got me, it came out well below what I was paying elsewhere for the same number of devices. I've got the cover on the family PC and my tablet and so far it's been quiet and out of the way. Setup took about ten minutes.
