Compared with ringing around for a solicitor's free call that never seems to get to the point, this is quicker and gets me the answer I want. I've used it on a few occasions now for questions about wills and small claims. Signing up is quick and the answers are usually back the same day, so I've had no reason to go elsewhere.
Read moreI needed help appealing a parking fine and didn't fancy paying a solicitor several hundred quid. The expert answer covered the grounds for appeal and the wording to use, which was helpful. The price was a bit higher than I'd hoped for a single question, and the reply came in slower than the other site I tried, but the advice was sound and I got the appeal done.
Read moreThe verdict is simple, I'd say they're still worth the money after all these years. I've been using the site for legal and tax questions since well before the app was around and the quality has stayed good. Signing up has always been quick and the answers still come back the same day, which is what I need when a letter arrives with a deadline on it. Never had a bad experience with them.
Read moreTyping this on my phone quickly, I needed to know if I could cancel a loan agreement within the cooling off period. The answer came through fairly quickly and explained the deadline clearly. The app itself is a bit fiddly to find things in, and it took me a few minutes to find where the reply had landed, but the advice was right.
The detail that got me was how fast the reply came back, like under half an hour. Answer was decent, about my car finance agreement. Only thing is the answer was a bit shorter than I'd have liked so I had to ask a follow up.
I bought a single expert question about a boiler pressure fault and the answer was spot on. The expert pointed out the pressure relief valve and explained the bleed procedure step by step, which saved me a call out. The only niggle was that the answer took a little longer than I expected to arrive, around forty minutes, but once it came through it was clear and practical.
