We needed a pergola to give some shade over the patio after my husband's operation, as he can't sit in the full sun. The site showed the sizes clearly and I could see how it would look. The team who put it up were careful and kind to him. Very happy with the result.
Read moreHaving put up a few sheds myself over the years, I expected more from the timber on this one. Several boards were warped and the door didn't sit flush. The customer service rep was polite but the replacement boards took nearly three weeks. I'd think twice before ordering again.
Read moreHonestly they were fine in the end, but I looked at three or four garden building firms before picking these. Ordering was easy enough, the quote was clear and they didn't push extras on me. The bit that dragged was the delivery slot, which moved twice and meant a day off work. Price was in the middle of what I'd seen elsewhere. Would I buy from them again? Probably, if the dates weren't tight.
Read moreWe wanted a place for the kids to play in the garden and a cheap playhouse wasn't going to cut it. The sign up took a few minutes. Delivery was a bit later than promised but the team were friendly when they came.
I've been using them for garden building work for about six years now. What stood out this time was the fitter arriving with a proper plan of the site and asking about drainage before he touched anything. The only thing that bugged me was the invoice came with a separate sheet for the VAT, which was a bit fiddly to match up. Otherwise they're always solid.
Compared to the firm I used for my last shed, this lot are miles ahead. The old one never answered the phone and I waited weeks for a quote. Here I had a reply to my email within a day and the garden room was fitted the week after. Only niggle was the paperwork took a bit to come through.
Looked at a couple of other sites for a playhouse and this one was cheaper than both of them. Booking the fitting slot on my phone was easy enough, took about five minutes. The fitter was a day later than the slot said, nothing major but I had to shuffle the school run around.
The fitting team were good once they arrived, very neat with the decking boards. What stood out to me was how clearly the quote explained the groundworks. The fitters were booked about four weeks out, which felt a bit long. Still a fair result.
