Compared with the handyman lot down the road, these have always been more reliable. I've used them for years now, and the crew are the same faces each time, which helps. Last job was a loft conversion and it went to plan. They keep me informed and I've never been left waiting long.
Read moreWe needed a bedroom refitted fast because the old wardrobes were falling apart and we were on a tight budget. The quote was reasonable at first but grew once they started. The wardrobe doors didn't line up and it took two visits to sort. Price felt a bit high for what we got, and I'd want a fixed figure next time.

They also flagged a damp patch before anything went on the walls, which saved us a headache…
Read moreI would say these are a sound choice if you want the job done properly without fuss. The booking on the site was straightforward and I found the quote clear, which I appreciated. The work itself was finished on the agreed day, though the person doing it arrived a little later than promised and I had to rearrange my morning. It was a small thing but I did mention it and they apologised. I'd happily use them again.
I got three quotes before picking these, and they were the middle one on price. The survey was thorough and the crew got on with it. The only niggle was the finish on the patio edging, which needed a small touch up after. Otherwise pleasant to deal with and the timeline held.
After comparing a few local builders I booked a garden room with them, mainly because the initial call was clear about the price. The booking form took a while to fill in and it asked for things twice. Work itself was careful, the base was levelled properly and the crew were tidy. The handover was a bit rushed though, and I found a couple of small snags I had to chase.
