Rebooked my sons train after a cancellation

The site spotted the cancellation before I did and offered me the next train plus a refund option in one screen, which saved me ringing anyone. I've used Turbopass for rail tickets for about six years now and the fares are usually the lowest I can find for the route to Manchester. Confirmation came straight to my email and the tickets were in the app within a minute.

useful for a coach trip to the seaside

I've been booking the coach trips with them for years now and they are always on time. This time the pick up point in town was moved a few streets over and it took me a bit to find it, but the driver was patient. Booking was easy enough, though the payment page wanted my card details twice before it went through.

Better than booking direct

Compared with booking the ferry crossing direct I found this a little easier to compare the options side by side. The price was competitive and I did not have to create an account. My one reservation is that the seat I was allocated had no window, which I had not been told beforehand. Still, the crossing itself was perfectly pleasant.

booked the coach trip again

We needed a coach tour to Scotland for the church group and this is the company we always use. Booked the same route as last year and it ran exactly as before. Good for the group.

decent value for a short break

Good value if you book early, the hotel I picked came in cheaper here than on the big sites. The booking page was a bit slow to load on my laptop though, and I had to re-enter my card once. The stay itself was comfortable and the room was clean, so I'd use them again for a city break.

Not as good as a travel agent

Compared to going through a travel agent this felt like doing all the work myself. The package I booked for a week in Greece had a transfer that was listed as included but turned out to be a shared minibus that took an hour longer. It got us there in the end but nobody told me until the day.

not as smooth as the other site

I'd used another booking site before and this one felt clunky by comparison, the search kept timing out and I had to start my booking again twice. Once I got through to paying it was fine but I'd expected the dates to hold while I looked at options. The price was a bit higher too, so I'm not sure I'd bother again.

Needed a last minute flight

I needed a flight home at short notice after a family thing and this was the quickest way to find one. Booking went fine and the flight was on time.

a rail and hotel combo

I booked a train and hotel combo for a weekend in York, which I'd not done before. The rail tickets came through as e-tickets on the app and the hotel details were right there too. The only thing was the hotel check in time was listed in a small grey font, so I nearly missed it. Otherwise it worked well for a cheap weekend away.

Holiday let was not quite as pictured

I booked a holiday let on the coast and the photos made the garden look bigger than it was. The kitchen was fine and the location was good for the beach. Still, the cleaning was done in a rush and the bedroom had a damp patch by the window which the host sorted only after I raised it.

the self catering cottage in Devon

We booked a self catering cottage in Devon for a week in the autumn and the owner had left a welcome note and the keys in a lockbox as promised. The heating took a while to warm the place, which was a bit of a nuisance on the first evening. The garden was lovely and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Flights were ok

Flights were ok, booked a Manchester to Faro trip. Took ages to get the seat I wanted and the luggage fee was a bit steep. Got there on time though.

needed a cheap place for a wedding

I needed somewhere cheap to stay for my cousin's wedding in Bristol and didn't want to pay hotel prices. Found a room in a shared house that was sorted within an afternoon. The bed was comfy and the room was exactly as shown in the listing.

two nights in the Lakes

Booked a two night stay in the Lake District through the app for a long weekend with the in-laws. Check in was simple, the place was as listed and the host answered my question about parking within the hour.

Quick and easy to book

Booked a last minute train and hotel on my phone during my lunch break and it took about four minutes. Confirmation came straight through and the hotel details were all there. Would use again.

booking a spa break again

Compared with the other spa booking site I used, this one gave a clearer picture of the rooms and the treatments on offer. We have now booked three breaks through them. Last spring's stay at a hotel in Harrogate was just as described and the staff remembered our names.

Good price but the app is fiddly

Booked a hotel in Leeds for a festival weekend and the price was about twenty quid less than the other sites. The filters in the app are a bit fiddly though, I kept having to reset them to see the cheaper rooms. Once I'd sorted it the booking itself was fine and the confirmation came quickly.

Very helpful for a trip to scotland

I'm not one for computers, but I found the coach tour to Scotland quite simple to arrange through their site. The details of each stop were clear and my daughter helped me print the itinerary. The group leader was courteous and everything ran to time, which I did appreciate.

booked a festival weekend

Needed somewhere to stay for a festival in Leeds and this was sorted in two mins. Got a bed near the venue and the host was really nice about the late check in. Would use again!
