Needed a cheap break for the kids half term

I needed somewhere cheap to take the kids during half term and had little time to plan. Found a self catering place on the site that cost less than the hotels I'd looked at. Booking took ten minutes and everything turned up as described.

Booked the coastal cottage for a week

We booked the coastal cottage for a week in early summer through the site, and it was exactly what we had hoped for. The booking process was simple enough, though the payment page timed out once and I had to start again. The cottage itself was clean and well kept, with a proper kitchen and a view across the bay.

Booked fine but the refund took ages

Booking was fine and the trip itself was good, but the refund for an unused excursion took weeks to come through. I emailed twice before I got a reply, which took three days. The hotel and transfers were as described, so I'm not put off, but I did expect the money back sooner.

booked quick, easy

Booked it in about ten minutes on the app, and the flights and hotel were both confirmed straight away. The only niggle was the room being a bit smaller than the photos, but it was clean and fine for a weekend away.

sixth year using them for our holidays

This is our sixth year using them for our summer holidays, and they've always been reliable. This year we went to a hotel in Cornwall with the sea view upgrade. The room was bigger than expected and the breakfast was good. Only quibble is I wish they'd email the final itinerary a few days earlier.

Needed a long weekend somewhere quiet

I needed a long weekend somewhere quiet after a stressful few months at work. Looked at a few options and this one had decent reviews for the cottages in the Cotswolds. The booking was fine, though the sorting of extras was a bit confusing. The cottage itself was lovely and the owner left a welcome basket.

The caravan park was spotless

The caravan park was spotless and the pitch had its own hook up for the van. What I liked most was how clear the site was about what came included and what cost extra. We booked for a week and the final price matched the one we saw at the start.

Took ages to sort the transfer

Needed a transfer from the airport to the villa and it took days to sort out. The booking confirmation said one time and the driver turned up at another. Nobody answered the phone for most of the afternoon.

great value for a family weekend

Good value for a family weekend away, and I'd book with them again. The package covered our rooms, breakfast and two activities, which saved us sorting each one separately. The hotel was a bit basic but clean, and the staff were helpful when we asked about the local bus times.

way easier than the hotel site

Way easier than going to the hotel's own site, I found a better room for less than what they wanted direct. Booked a city break in Brighton in like five minutes on my phone. Would definitely use again.

Better than booking the hotel myself

I found this a more useful way to book than going straight to the hotel's own site. The package included the coach trip and two excursions, which I'd otherwise have had to arrange separately. Everything ran to time and our guide was very knowledgeable.

cheap flights and a decent hotel

Cheap flights and a decent hotel in Lisbon, booked in about ten mins on the app. Everything was there when we got to the hotel and the room was clean.

Cheaper than booking the lodge direct

Compared with booking the lodge direct, this was about a fifth cheaper for the same dates, which is why I went for it. The flight and accommodation came as one package so I didn't have to juggle two bookings. The lodge had everything we needed for a long weekend and the check in was easy. I'd call it good value for a short trip away.

Needed a cheap break after a bad year

I needed a cheap break after a bad year and didn't want to spend much. Found a seaside hotel for a couple of nights that came in well under what I'd budgeted, with breakfast included. The room was small but comfortable and the sea was just a short walk away. Booking was quick and the confirmation came straight away.

Used them for our third trip

This is our third trip booked through them, and we have never had a problem with the hotels they pick. This time we booked a city break in Edinburgh with the train included. The confirmation email was a little late to arrive, so we rang to check, and they sorted it within the hour.

The lodge was fine but slow to confirm

The lodge in the Lake District was a lovely spot, and the booking page showed the full cost up front, which I appreciated. I did find the confirmation took nearly three days to arrive, and I had to ring them to check my dates were right. Once everything was sorted it was all perfectly fine.

Got the weekend city break

Got the weekend city break to Manchester with hotel and train sorted in one go. The hotel was clean and the room was a decent size for the money. Booked it on my phone in the bus queue and it worked fine.

Booking a villa through them

The villa in Cornwall was lovely, and the first thing I noticed was how clear the booking page was about what was included, which saved me a lot of worry. Payment went through without any fuss. The transfer from the station was a bit slow to confirm though, and I did have to ring them twice before it was sorted, so I'd hope they could tighten that up.

pricier than the other site but better looked after

Compared with the other sites I use, this one was a bit dearer for the same hotel in Bath. What made up for it was the support when the train was cancelled and they rebooked us the same afternoon. The hotel was pleasant and the room was quiet. I'd still use them again.

About The Park Prodigy

The Park Prodigy is a UK-based company that focuses on theme park holidays, offering travellers a way to plan and book trips to some of the country's leading parks and resorts. Its website presents the trips it sells, covering the parks visited, the travel arrangements and the accommodation that accompanies each package. The company is aimed at families and groups of enthusiasts who want their days at the parks organised around ride access, timings and transport rather than assembled piece by piece.

Customers book online through the company's website, which sets out what each trip includes and how the itinerary is arranged before any payment is made. Alongside the holidays themselves, the business is known for its focus on planning details that matter to theme park visitors, such as queueing strategy and the order in which attractions are visited.
