I looked at three other operators before picking this one and the price was the deciding factor. The booking page was clear and the seats were comfortable for the long run down to Cornwall. We felt well looked after from start to finish and the guide was very knowledgeable about the places we passed.
Read moreI compared a few operators and this one was about the same price as the rest. Booking took longer than it should have because the payment page kept timing out and I had to start again. Once we were on the coach it was fine and the driver was helpful.
Read moreI've booked trains and hotels separately for years and this was a different level of easy. Last time I put together a Yorkshire break myself it took me the best part of an evening, whereas here the coach, hotel and meals were all in one booking. The only niggle was the pick up point was a bit further from home than I'd like, but the coach was on time and the staff were helpful when we got on.

Shearings Coach Holidays is a British operator of escorted coach tours, short breaks and holidays for travellers who prefer to be driven rather than to make their own travel arrangements. Its programme includes domestic breaks across the United Kingdom, European touring holidays and longer excursions further afield, with hotel accommodation, meals and sightseeing arranged as part of a single package. The company is known for its emphasis on group travel and its established presence among older travellers and those who value a relaxed, guided pace.
Bookings are made by telephone, through its website or via travel agents, and trips depart from a network of collection points across the country. Each holiday is accompanied by staff who handle the practical arrangements, so that guests can focus on the destinations and the company of fellow travellers.
