Never used them before and I was nervous about booking abroad through a site. Turned out the process was clear, with the price shown up front and no extra fees at the end. The flights and hotel were both confirmed straight away and the app kept everything in one place. Went off without a problem.
Read moreThe room in the listing had a sea view but ours faced the car park and the bathroom was smaller than the pictures. I emailed about it and it took three days for anyone to reply. They did offer a small credit in the end but it was not the disappointment-free stay I hoped for. The booking process itself was simple enough.
Read moreWe wanted a gentle river cruise for our fortieth anniversary and I was looking for somewhere that handled everything. The booking was done over the phone with a very patient advisor who went through the options carefully. The cabin was comfortable and the crew were attentive. Only small niggle was that the shore excursion times changed once and I had to check the app again.
Read moreQuickly checked another site first and this one was about twenty quid more for the same hotel. Booking itself was smooth enough and the reminder emails were helpful. The hotel room was fine but the breakfast was not what the photos suggested, a bit thin. Getting a refund for a changed date was also slower than I wanted, took nearly two weeks to show up.
The first thing I noticed was how many years I have been using them, since at least the early days when the site looked quite different. This time the seat selection on the coach tour page kept jumping around on my tablet and I had to start again once. Once it was done the confirmation came through straight away and the trip itself was fine.
