Hotel price was the best bit

The hotel price showing up next to the flights was the bit that got me, saved a bit of faff checking two sites. Only niggle was the hotel page loading slow on my phone twice, but otherwise fine for a quick trip to Brighton with the lads, sorted in ten minutes.

Cheaper than the usual site

Compared it with the big airline site I normally use and the fare here was a fair bit less for the same flight to Malaga. I'd not booked through a comparison site before so was a bit nervous. The booking itself was fine, though the baggage details weren't as clear as I'd have liked and I had to check elsewhere.

Compared three sites first

Checked three sites before picking this one for a trip to Edinburgh and the flight times and prices matched the airline when I cross checked. The search results were the first thing that stood out, very clear list. Booked with no problems, only small gripe is the checkout has a few extra steps.

About KAYAK

KAYAK is an online travel search engine that compares flights, hotels, car hire and holiday packages from a wide network of airlines, booking sites and travel providers. The website and app allow travellers to search several sources at once, filter results by price, duration and airline, and then continue to the provider's site to complete the booking. KAYAK also offers price alerts and trip tracking tools that help people decide when to book and keep their itineraries in one place.

Its customers are mainly independent travellers, families and business users in the United Kingdom who plan their own trips rather than buying a package from a single operator. KAYAK is a metasearch service rather than a seller of travel itself, so bookings, payments and customer support for changes are handled by the airline, hotel or agent the user is directed to.
