I've been using this site for a good while now, mostly for coach and rail combinations to get to the coast. This time I booked a short cruise out of Southampton with the travel to the port included. The cabin was as described and the boarding details came through a couple of weeks before we sailed, which gave us plenty of time to plan. Everything ran to time on the day, and the coach to the port…
Read moreUsed them for a family trip to Spain and the booking itself was fine. Felt a bit steep though once the extras for seat selection and bags were added, the total ended up noticeably more than the headline fare. The confirmation took a day to arrive which was a bit slow when we were trying to sort the car hire.
Read moreMy sister was unwell last spring and I wanted to book a short break to Bath for us both, so I needed something I could manage on the phone without a fuss. I rang their helpline and the young woman took her time, explained the flight and hotel options clearly and didn't rush me at all. The confirmation came through promptly and everything was exactly as described. I'm very pleased we went.
Read moreI booked a three night city break to Porto with a hotel and return flights, and I've done a fair few of these now so I know what to look for. The hotel was the right side of the centre and the room was clean, though the bathroom was smaller than the photos suggested. Everything else went smoothly, and the transfer from the airport was waiting where they said it would be.
I've booked our short breaks through them for years now, usually a long weekend somewhere in Europe with flights and a hotel. The package deal we picked for Lisbon was good value and the hotel was just as described. The only niggle was a small delay on the confirmation email, but the phone line got it sorted quickly.
The booking part was clear enough and I liked that the trip summary showed every leg separately so I could see the times without digging. One thing I'd flag is that when I had to swap a return date later, the change went through the airline rather than the site and the fee was higher than I expected. Still, I'd use them again for a city break.
Tried two other comparison sites before this one for a week in Tenerife, and the total on this one was lower once everything was added. The flights and the hotel were in one booking, which saved me faffing about with separate payments. The only thing that wasn't quite right was the seat selection, which cost more than I expected.
