Compared with the big London attractions this was much better value, we'd paid nearly double for a day at one of those last year. The tickets were easy to sort on the site and the park was less crowded on a weekday. Food is pricier inside but the picnic rules are sensible.
Read moreThe booking page for the park kept timing out on my phone so I had to start again twice. Once the tickets went through they arrived by email straight away, which was fine. Didn't love wasting ten minutes on it.
Read moreWe bought two day tickets for the park back in the spring, booked through the website which was fairly straightforward to use, though I did find the date picker a little fiddly on my tablet. The day itself was lovely and the staff were very helpful with directions. The queues for a few of the bigger rides were longer than I'd have liked, mind, but we managed.

We booked a hotel stay for the weekend, having looked at a couple of other places nearby first. The room was clean and comfy but the check in took ages because the desk was short staffed. The price was fair compared with the others we'd looked at, though breakfast cost extra.
We needed a day trip for the kids over the summer holidays and wanted something not too pricey. The tickets were fine to book but the price went up a bit between checking and paying. The park itself was enjoyable and the staff were patient with the little ones.
