Compared with booking the hotel direct I came out a fair bit ahead with this, as the package with the rail tickets was cheaper than buying them separately. The rail tickets arrived by email within minutes and the hotel check in in Brighton was quick. Would happily book again for a weekend away.

Compared to booking through one of the big comparison sites this was a fair bit dearer for the same Lake District hotel, which annoyed me a bit. Once I got going though the trip itself was fine and the coach was on time. I'd expected a few more extras for the money, though.

Stick with them, I've used them for about eight years now and they've never let me down. Last spring I booked a Cornwall trip and the transfer from the station was waiting exactly when it should have been. The only thing is the add ons cost more than they used to, but the core booking is still solid.

Booked the five night Lake District walking package with a guided option and the guide was brilliant, knew every path and kept the pace right for our group. The luggage transfer between the inns saved us carrying packs up Scafell side. Confirmation and the route notes came through a week before we set off.

Booked the three day Highlands coach tour as my first holiday booked through them and honestly it went really smoothly. The driver knew loads about the history at every stop and the hotel in Fort William was clean and had a decent breakfast. Pick up was right where it said on the confirmation.

Yeah, I'd go with them again. I looked at three other sites before booking a long weekend in York and this one came out cheapest for the hotel and train together. The hotel was a bit further out from the centre than the photos made it look, but it was still easy enough on the bus.

The hotel in Bath was nothing like the listing, the room was small and the bathroom was dated, and I was told it would have a view over the city. I emailed them and it took four days to get a reply, which didn't help. The booking itself was simple enough, but I won't be trying them again for a stay.

Needed a weekend away fast after my sister's wedding got moved and I had a load of leave to use up. Booked a short break to Edinburgh on my phone during a lunch break, took about five minutes and the confirmation came through straight away. Good stuff.

I needed a proper rest after a difficult year looking after my husband, so I booked a few quiet days in a Cotswolds village with them. The booking itself took a while as the dates kept dropping out and I had to ring twice to sort it. Once we arrived the room and the staff were perfectly lovely and very helpful.
