Action Tour Guide

We booked the five day walking tour of the Lake District through the site in March. The itinerary was clear, the hotels were what they said they'd be, and our guide Sian was brilliant with the group, including the nervous ones. Only small thing was the luggage transfer was a bit late on day two, but they sorted it by the evening. Would go with them again.

Finished my finals and wanted a trip with my mates but none of us knew where to start. Found a Lisbon package on the site, the booking took a few minutes and the flights and hostel were all sorted in one go. Tour guide was a laugh. Brilliant way to do a first big trip.

The tour itself was alright, bit rushed in the afternoon. Price was a bit higher than some others I saw.

Compared a few firms for a week in the Algarve and this one came out cheapest once you added everything up. No hidden fees at checkout, which the others had. Transfers were on time, the rep met us at arrivals with a clear sign, and the apartment matched the photos. Good value and no fuss.

Been booking with this company for about eight years now, mostly the long weekend city breaks. Their hotel picks are consistently good and the group sizes are small enough that you don't feel herded around. Last trip to Bruges the walking tour ran a bit long and the timings on the printed schedule were off, which was annoying. Otherwise solid and I'll keep using them.

The guide on our Scottish Highlands tour was the best bit of the whole thing, he knew every story about every loch. Booking through the site was easy, just wish the payment page was a bit quicker on my phone. Coach was comfy and we stopped where we needed to.
