I got my first puppy in the summer and realised I had no idea what cover to get, so I looked around for a while. I went with this one because the policy explained the excess really clearly. The only thing I'd change is that the app is a bit slow to load on my older phone, but the cover itself has been fine so far.

What got me was the price for the basic level compared with the others I checked, which was lower than I expected for a policy with a decent limit on vet fees. I didn't need the extras so I left them off and the total stayed sensible. The renewal reminder came a few weeks early, which helped me budget, and the payment setup was straightforward enough.

I'd had quotes from three other places and two of them wanted a phone call before they'd even give a figure, which put me off. This lot showed me the levels and what each one covered right on the screen, so comparing was painless. The policy started the same day I paid and the paperwork came through by email within the hour, which was a relief with our new cat coming home that weekend.
