Quick and easy to use

Signed up on the app during my lunch break and had the account open before I'd finished my sandwich. Verification asked for a selfie and a passport photo which took a minute but was fine. Money moved between my pots instantly and I've used it three times this week already. Brilliant for a quick job.

needed it for school fees

I needed a way to pay my nephew's school trip deposit in Germany and my bank kept sending the payment back for checks. Someone suggested this one so I gave it a go. The account opening was a bit slow because they asked for extra proof of address, a few days in total. Once I was in, the transfer went through fine and the fee was much lower than I'd have paid elsewhere.

Far cheaper than the high street bank

I'd always used my high street bank for transfers to my brother in Canada, but they charged a good deal more than this does. The transfer was simple to set up online and the money reached him without any trouble. I've not looked back since I switched over.

the exchange rate was the highlight

The exchange rate caught my attention first, it was close to the interbank rate which I hadn't expected from an app. I used it to convert a chunk of savings for a trip to Japan and the money showed up in the foreign account within a day. The only small thing is the app asks you to re-verify your details every few months which is a bit annoying.

Opened a joint account for our flat

I bought a joint account with my partner to pay bills and compared it with two other banks before we settled on this one. The setup for both of us took about twenty minutes on our phones. Everything works well and the account is easy to share.

Way better than my old app

Compared to the app I used before this is miles better. The rate is closer to the proper one and I can see exactly what I'm paying before I hit send. Used it to pay a mate in Spain for a flat deposit and it was there in a few hours.

Does the job

Yeah it's good. Set up the account on my phone on the bus and it was done in a few minutes. Sent money to my cousin in Ireland and it landed quicker than I thought. Nothing to complain about really, and the fees are pretty low.

Opened the account to hold dollars

I opened an account to hold dollars for a trip to the States and compared it with two other options before picking this one. The fees are clearly shown and the card works fine abroad. The only thing was the verification took a couple of days longer than I'd have liked, but once it was done it was smooth.

My savings account for over ten years

I've had the savings account with them for over ten years and it's never let me down. The interest is paid monthly into my current account and I've never had to chase anything. When I needed to move a larger sum for a house repair the transfer went through in a day, and the support line answered first time when I had a question about the statement. I'd say it's the most reliable money I've got.

needed to move money abroad cheaply

I needed a cheap way to pay my son's university fees in Australia and my bank was charging a fortune. This one cut the cost by more than half and the payment arrived in good time. Clear fees, no surprises.

Better than my old provider

Compared to the provider I used before, this is much easier to get along with. Sending money to my sister in New Zealand is simple now and she's had it the same day both times. No complaints.

First time using them

Never used them before so I wasn't sure what to expect. The sign up took about ten minutes on my laptop and the bank details arrived the same day. Transfer to my mum in India reached her the next morning, which was all I needed.

Sorted my travel card

Got the card before a trip to Thailand and it was sorted in about a week. Spending abroad doesn't charge me the usual nasty fees and the app shows the rate right when I pay. Only thing is the card itself took ages to turn up, but once it did it works fine.

Multi currency account

I've been running a multi currency account with them for my freelance work, so I know the set up well. I bought the business account to take payments in euros and dollars. The conversion is decent and the payouts land quickly. The one thing I'd flag is that the statement export is clunky and I end up tidying it in a spreadsheet, which is a bit of a pain.

Way quicker than my old bank

Compared to my old bank this was miles quicker, got the money in my account same day after I finished the form on my phone while waiting for the bus. Dead simple, no faff with branches or calling anyone.

Verification took forever

Honestly not great. Signed up, got stuck on the ID check for ages and had to send the same photo twice. Once I got in the app is alright but the start was a nightmare.

The transfer was fine but the fee wasn't

The transfer itself was fine and reached my daughter in Spain on time. The thing is the fee was more than I'd expected once I added in the exchange margin, and I'd have paid less with the other provider I looked at. It's OK but I'll probably compare again next time.

Sensible fees

I wanted a cheap way to send money to my daughter in Canada each month and the fees here are the lowest I've found. The setup was easy enough, though I needed to dig out my old driving licence for the ID check. The transfers arrive as promised, usually the next working day, and there are no surprises on the statement.

Needed to pay a supplier overseas

I needed to pay a supplier in Turkey and the bank wanted a fortune for it. This did the job for far less and the supplier had the money within a working day. I know how these transfers work so I checked the rate against the live figure and it was close.
