Compared with the high street shop I used before, signing up here was far simpler and I didn't have to sit through a long sales pitch. I took out a standard monthly plan and the new sim came through the post within the week. The bill is straightforward and I can see my usage on the account page. Customer care on the phone was polite when I rang about setting up voicemail, so I have no complaints…
Read moreCompared with my previous provider they're noticeably cheaper each month, which is why I switched. The signal in my area is a bit patchy though and the customer chat took a while to get a reply when I had a question about my bill. Not a dealbreaker but worth knowing.
Read moreI took a sim only plan with the 30GB allowance for my old handset, which I use mainly for maps and music on the road. The sim was activated before I'd even unpacked the box it came in, and the APN settings were already set so I didn't have to fiddle. Read moreI needed a sim for a spare phone my son uses for school trips, so a plan without a contract made sense. The sim arrived in good time and it was all set up fast. My only gripe is the top up menu is a bit fiddly to find on the app, but once I'd found it everything was straightforward.
The first thing I noticed was the sim card came in a little plastic wallet with the number already printed on it, which I thought was a nice touch. It did take a day longer than the app said to arrive though, so I was a bit annoyed. Once it was in the phone everything worked fine and the monthly price is what I expected. Would sign up again.

Superdrug Mobile is the mobile phone and broadband arm of the Superdrug health and beauty retailer, offering SIM-only deals, contract phones and home broadband to UK customers. The service is sold primarily online through its website, where customers choose a plan, a handset or both and have their order delivered to their door. Its plans are aimed at everyday users who want a straightforward monthly bundle of data, calls and texts without the complexity of a traditional network contract.
The company runs on a network agreement with a major UK mobile operator, which allows it to offer coverage that is comparable to the larger high street providers. Customers manage their accounts through an online dashboard and can port an existing number when they switch.
