Needed something quick for the new flat

Moved into a flat with no line at all so I needed broadband sorted fast. Signed up online on a Sunday and the install was booked in for the Thursday. It works well, though the router isn't the nicest looking thing on the shelf.

App is handy but the bill took a while

Set the account up through the app on the bus and it was straightforward enough. The first bill took ages to show up in the app though and I had to ring to check the amount. Otherwise the data is fine and I can top up without fuss.

Better than the old provider

Compared to my old provider this is much simpler, with one bill and no surprise charges for the line rental. Took about a week to get connected, which was a fair bit quicker than the last switch I did. The router sits nicely in the hallway and the connection has been reliable since day one.

good value for what we pay

Honestly this is the cheapest we've found for home broadband and the bill has stayed the same for the whole year. Setting up the account was easy enough with the phone line transferred over in about ten days. Speeds are fine for the two of us and the grandchildren watching films at weekends.

Decent enough but the bill went up

Bought the mobile contract plan a few months back and it does the job for calls and data. The price went up at the first renewal though, which I wasn't told about clearly in the emails. Delivery of the SIM took a few days longer than they said, but it turned up.

Needed a backup line for work

I work from home three days a week and our main connection went down for most of a Tuesday, so I needed something to fall back on quickly. Signed up for a mobile data plan on the site and had a SIM through the post in two days. It's been a lifesaver for video calls, the signal is solid in the flat, and I haven't had to think about it since.

Looked at three providers first

Looked at three providers before picking this one and it came out cheapest once I'd added up the setup fees. The install took a bit longer than the date they gave, but the engineer was polite and tidied up after himself. Speeds are good and the monthly cost is exactly what they quoted.

Connection kept dropping

Honestly the connection dropped about three times a day for the first fortnight and the support chat kept sending me links instead of fixing anything. Got a new router in the end which helped a bit. Not what I was expecting for the money.

Switched to their fibre broadband

Took the fibre broadband package in March after my old line kept dropping every evening. The engineer came out within the week and the router was set up before he left, which I didn't expect. Speeds have been steady since and the Wi-Fi reaches the back bedroom now, so the only thing I'd change is the price creeping up at the end of the contract.

the speed test blew me away

Ran the speed test on my phone the first night and the numbers were way higher than my old plan. Got the set up done in one go, no calls to customer services needed. Streaming is smooth now even with four of us on it.
