I purchased the lifetime licence for the village history website, which I manage on behalf of the parish council. The payment and download were straightforward, and the instructions for installing it were clear enough that I managed without ringing anyone. The photo galleries look very tidy and the councillors have been most pleased with them. I do appreciate a company that makes things easy for…
Read moreCompared it with two others and this was the one I was least happy with in the end. The gallery looked nothing like the demo on the site once I'd set it up on my own theme, and the photos crowded the page. Getting help took nearly four days and by then I had already rebuilt the page myself. I wouldn't go with it again.
Read moreI've been with them since the early days and compared to the other galleries I tried back then, this one has kept up with every update without breaking my existing pages. My daughter set up the first gallery for my pottery sales and I've added to it every year since. The renewal process is simple, I just get an email and it's sorted. Never had to chase anyone or wait long for a reply when I've…
Read moreHonestly it does the job well and I'd pick it again for a small business site. I compared three options before settling on this and it came out ahead on ease of use. Installing it on my own hosting worked first time and the gallery loads fast on mobile.
The captions are a nice touch, and I hadn't expected them to be so easy to add to each picture. We run a small gift shop and I wanted the items shown neatly without it looking cluttered. It has done that, though the mobile view needed a small adjustment before it sat right.
Looked at three different gallery plugins before picking this one and the drag and drop upload was the bit that sold it for me. Setting up the first album took a while because I kept fiddling with the thumbnail sizes, which is probably my fault. The pictures load fast on my phone though, which I didn't expect from something this cheap.
Got the licence for my dressmaking website in minutes, which was the bit I was dreading. I'd been put off by the price of a rival gallery so picked this one, and it did the job well. The layout looks fine on my phone but I'd like a bit more control over the spacing between images.
This does what I need for our dog grooming salon's before and after pictures. I've been a customer for a few years now and renewing is easy. The one thing I'd change is that the upload screen could be clearer for new users.
I run a small photography studio and our old gallery was making the pages take ages to load, so I needed something that only pulled images in as people scrolled. This handles that properly and I've tested it on a few devices now. The settings for thumbnail sizes are sensible and I didn't have to touch the code once. Support answered a question about image ordering within a day. Happy with it.
