I purchased the lifetime licence for the village history website, which I manage on behalf of the parish council. The payment and download were straightforward, and the instructions for installing it were clear enough that I managed without ringing anyone. The photo galleries look very tidy and the councillors have been most pleased with them. I do appreciate a company that makes things easy for…
Read moreCompared it with two others and this was the one I was least happy with in the end. The gallery looked nothing like the demo on the site once I'd set it up on my own theme, and the photos crowded the page. Getting help took nearly four days and by then I had already rebuilt the page myself. I wouldn't go with it again.

My daughter set up the first gallery for my pottery sales and I've added to it every year since. The renewal process is simple, I just get an email and it's sorted. Never had to chase anyone or wait long for a reply when I've…
Read moreTried a few before this one and it was the middle option in terms of cost. The setup needed a bit of trial and error to get the photos to sit right on my shop page. It's fine now but took longer than I'd like.
I've had the pro licence for about six years now, mostly for photo galleries on the holiday cottage site I run. The annual renewal cost has gone up a fair bit since I first bought it, and that's the bit that grates. The gallery itself still works fine and I've never had it break after an update.
Compared it with the free gallery plugin I'd been using and this one felt a bit more polished from the start, though the setup took longer than I expected. The gallery layouts are nice and I got through the first build in an afternoon, but the settings panel is cluttered and I had to hunt for the lightbox options. Support answered my question within a day which was fine.
