I took out a short term loan through the app to cover a bill that landed the same week as my car insurance renewal. I've borrowed from a few lenders over the years so I knew what to look for, and the app shows the total repayable before you confirm, which I appreciated. The identity check took about two minutes with my passport photo. Money arrived fast and the repayment schedule is shown clearly…

The interest is a little on the high side compared with what I'd hoped, but I understood it at the start…
Read moreI needed funds quickly when the boiler packed up in January and the engineer wanted paying before he'd come back. I found the application process reasonably straightforward and the staff were polite when I rang with a question. The money arrived within a day. The rate is higher than I'd like but the repayments have been manageable.

The first thing I noticed was how clearly the repayment dates were laid out on the account page, which I did appreciate. The loan itself was handled very properly and the money came through without any fuss. My only small complaint is that the reminder emails arrive rather often, a good deal more than I'd like. I've asked for them to be reduced and they have been.
The repayment reminder is the best bit, pings you a few days before each one. Took a bit of time to get the bank link working but it sorted itself out.
