I compared a couple of comparison sites before going direct, and this loan was the one I picked for the short term option. The application was simple and the decision came back fast. The money arrived before I'd even finished my tea. Repaying in instalments has been easy and I've been able to see the balance clearly in the account.
Read moreI'd looked at three other lenders before picking this one and their rate was noticeably higher than the two I'd checked first. The application was fine and they approved me quickly. But the total repayable came out well over what the cheaper option quoted, and I felt I'd have been better off going elsewhere.

The online form was clear enough, though I did have to upload my bank statements twice before they accepted them. The repayment schedule was easy to read and the app shows exactly what is still owed.
Read moreWent for the instalment plan rather than paying it all back at once, which the app made easy to set up. Repayments come out on my payday like they should. The bit I didn't like was the customer chat took about two days to reply when I had a question about an early payment. Otherwise it's been fine.
This is a sound lender for a short loan, the APR is clear and the decision is fast. The only thing I'd flag is the app is a bit clunky when you want to check a past payment, it takes a couple of taps too many.
I'd never borrowed money online before, so I checked a couple of others first. This one came out cheaper than the first site I looked at for the same amount over the same term. The form took a bit longer than I expected because they wanted a few extra documents. Money arrived the day after approval.
Application and approval were straightforward and I had the money within a day. Repayments are taken as agreed. The only small niggle was that I had to ring once to confirm the closing balance, the online figure took a while to update.
