Checked a few of these before choosing this one because I wanted someone to look up a builder. Sign up was quick and the results came through the same afternoon. Best value of the lot for a one off check.

First time I've used a site like this so I wasn't sure what to expect. The first thing that stood out was how plain the search form is, just a name and a rough location. I got a few results back that helped me find the person I was looking for, and the whole thing was quick.

First time using it so I wasn't sure what to expect. What stood out most was how clearly the report was laid out, with everything in one place and no confusing jargon. Support answered a question I had quickly too. Really pleased with how it turned out for me.

I've done plenty of background checks for work so I know what good results look like. The data here was up to date and the report was clear about where each piece came from. Signing up and booking was simple and I had it all in under an hour. Solid service.

Needed to verify a contact for a job before sending over a contract, so I was in a rush and typed this on the train. Booked a search and had the info in under an hour. Did the job and saved me a call to someone I didn't really know. Will be back when the next one comes up.

Tried a couple of other sites first and they were either too pricey or wanted me to sign up before showing anything. This one was cheaper for a single look up and the results came through straight away. Found the person I was after, so it did the job.

Met someone off an app and wanted to make sure he was who he said he was before meeting up. Typed his name in on my phone during lunch and got a few results back pretty quick. Was sorted in like five mins, didn't have to sign up for anything weird. Would use again.

Paid for a single search to check a plumber my husband wanted to use for a kitchen job, and it came back with a name, last known address and a couple of old numbers. Didn't need a subscription which was the main thing for me, the checkout was quick and the results loaded straight away on my phone. Only thing is the email confirmation took a few minutes to arrive so I thought it hadn't gone through.

I bought the saved search option to keep an eye on a family member's details. It was simple to set up and the notifications arrived when they were meant to. A pleasant and dependable service, which is exactly what I wanted.

Looked at a few of the other sites before picking this one, and most wanted a subscription just to see anything. This one let me pay for a single search and I got what I needed, which was a confirmed address for a relative. Simple to use and no fuss.

Compared to the other site I tried first, this was much easier to use on my phone. Signed up in minutes between meetings. Results came through the same day and I could see everything without digging around. Would use again.

Needed to check out a landlord before signing a lease, so I booked a quick search on my phone. It came back fast with the info I wanted and I could see the history on the property. Easy enough to use and I'd do it again if I had to.

Needed to find my dad's old mate for his birthday surprise and couldn't remember his surname, so I put in what I had. Got a few options back and the right one was near the top. Booking took two minutes and my mum was dead chuffed when I told her. Would do it again.

I've been doing tracing and background work for years, so I know what a decent result looks like. Ran a few searches here to check a former tenant's details and the matches were accurate and up to date. The results page is clear and the data is laid out properly. Good tool for the price.
