First time I've used a site like this so I wasn't sure what to expect. The first thing that stood out was how plain the search form is, just a name and a rough location. I got a few results back that helped me find the person I was looking for, and the whole thing was quick.
Read moreI've used a similar service for years and this one felt clunkier by comparison. The search brought back a lot of old addresses that weren't useful. Waited a few days for a reply when I emailed about it, and the results I got didn't really match what I'd been promised on the page.
Read morePaid for a single search to check a plumber my husband wanted to use for a kitchen job, and it came back with a name, last known address and a couple of old numbers. Didn't need a subscription which was the main thing for me, the checkout was quick and the results loaded straight away on my phone. Only thing is the email confirmation took a few minutes to arrive so I thought it hadn't gone…
Read moreWent with them in the end after looking at about three other people finding relatives online. Their search was clear and I liked that they showed me what I'd get before I paid, which the others didn't. Took a couple of days to come through but the info was useful and I'm glad I didn't just go with the first one I saw.
Compared to the other one I used it's a lot quicker to get going, I was in and out in ten minutes on my phone. Results loaded fine. One small thing, the price shown at the start didn't include the report so I had to pay again to unlock it.
The report itself was what I needed and it was done in a few minutes. The bit that stood out, and not in a good way, was that the refund process for a duplicate charge took a while to sort out. Got there in the end though.
Needed to track down an old school mate for a reunion thing. The detail that stood out was how many results came back, loads of possible people with the same name. Took a bit of scrolling to find the right one but it got there in the end. Pretty good for a quick search.
