Skycop

Signed up in like two mins, which was great. The claim form was a bit fiddly though, it kept asking for the same info twice. Money landed in my bank after about four days. Still good.

Compared with the other two I tried, the price here was a bit higher but the cover for missed connections made up for it. The sign up took a couple of minutes and the policy docs were easy to find. A small hiccup came when the claim took a few extra days because I had sent the wrong letter, but it was sorted quickly after I uploaded the right one.

Been buying flight delay cover for years and the wording on what counts as a delay is clearer here than most. The annual policy suits me because I fly a few times a year. The only small gripe is the renewal reminder came late, so I nearly missed it.

Compared to the comparison sites this one was a bit more pricey, probably around a fiver more for the same trip, so I was a bit annoyed at first. The sign up was dead quick though and I got through it on my phone while waiting for the bus. Claim for a delayed Ryanair flight took a few days to come through but nothing went wrong and the money came in fine. Good enough for a cheap trip abroad.

Skycop is a good pick if you want cover for missed connections, which the other sites I checked didn't really offer. Price was a touch higher than the comparison sites but the wording on delays was clearer. The only thing that dragged was getting an answer back from them on a question, it took a couple of days.
