The booking page showed a survey slot on the Tuesday which nobody else I'd looked at could offer, so that's what stood out. I'd had two other firms quote for the same alarm service and this was the only one that gave me a time window I could actually keep. The engineer arrived in it, did the check and emailed a short report the same day. Easy from start to finish.
Read moreI'd say the service is fine, though it took a long time to get the appointment sorted. I had been with them for a few years now for the house alarm monitoring, so I know how they work. The engineer who came out to replace the battery was polite and got on with it. The reminder about the contract renewal came a bit late though, and I had to ring to clarify the new charges.
Read moreHaving worked in facilities for years I know what a decent CCTV survey looks like, and the engineer they sent knew his stuff, cabled neatly and didn't try to oversell me on extra cameras. My complaint is the admin. The quote took about a week to arrive after the visit and I had to chase it once. The install itself was tidy and the footage quality is good, so it's a real niggle rather than a…
Read moreWe needed a new lock for the back door after a break in and wanted something that wouldn't cost the earth. The quote was clear and nothing extra appeared on the bill. The fitter arrived on the day, and the work looks good. The only thing was that the confirmation email came through a bit late.
We needed the old door entry panel replaced at the block after the last one stopped working altogether, and the residents were getting rather fed up with it. The engineer who came out was polite and explained everything clearly before starting. The only small thing is that the paperwork took a few days to come through, but once the work was done it's been perfectly reliable since.
Needed a motion sensor light fitted by the front door after a parcel went missing. Got a few quotes and this was fine. Engineer was on time and the light works.
I would say this is a sound firm to deal with, though the price for the security survey was a bit higher than I had hoped. The surveyor was thorough and knew his stuff, and walked the whole property with us. The written report came through a few days after the visit, which was fine. I'd still go with them again.
Got a quote from another firm first and this one came in a fair bit lower for the same work. Booking was simple online. The engineer took a bit longer to arrive than the window they gave, but he was friendly and it was done properly.
Compared to the locksmith we used before, they were far quicker to book and the engineer turned up within the window they gave. Took a couple of days to get the quote back though, which was the only slow bit. Happy with the work and would use them again if we need anything else done.
