Compared with the holiday reading club down the road, this works out much cheaper for the term. The lessons are shorter so my daughter doesn't get bored halfway through. I like that I can see her progress without asking the teacher. Happy with it so far.

The lesson plan is what sold me, the way each step builds on the last. Looked at three other schemes first. Cheaper than a couple of them and the sessions are easy to follow. Booked it, got the login the same afternoon.

It's fine for early readers but I'd not bother if your child is past the basics. I've used a few of these schemes as a tutor and the sounds are taught in a sensible order, I'll give them that. The problem is the later units feel babyish for seven and eights, and the support email took about four days to reply when I had a question about the progress tracker.
