I was rather pleased to find the lift access clearly marked on the map before we set off, which is not always the case. The staff at the front desk were very patient with my questions about the galleries. The only small matter was that the tea room closed earlier than we had hoped, but I daresay that is not unusual for places of this sort.

What I noticed first was how much you get for the ticket price compared with other attractions nearby. Booking online was quick and the confirmation came straight away. The exhibits were well presented and the cafe prices were fair. Good value for a Sunday afternoon.

Compared with the other gallery we tried last year, this one is a bit pricier for what you see. The online booking was easy though and the timed entry worked well. Staff on the door were pleasant and let us in on time. Small niggle but we'd come back.

booked the timed slot on the app on the bus and it was easy enough but the app kept logging me out and i had to start again twice. got there fine though. the ticket scanned first time at the door.
