A customer since the early days

I've been using this site for going on six years, first time I needed it was when our collie bolted during fireworks season. Back then the alerts were slower but the team kept improving the app and now it's very quick. I renewed my dog's profile this spring when we took on our new rescue. Signing up again was no bother at all, the saved details carried over. Glad it's still going.

Quick and easy

Honestly the alert was live in like two minutes, didn't even have to think about it. Put the dog's photo up and it just went out to people round us. Would use it again if needed, no complaints at all.

found the alert option after comparing

Had a look at a few options before picking this one, mostly because the alert went out to people nearby straight away and the others didn't say how far it reached. Signing up took about five minutes on my phone. The only thing that annoyed me was the confirmation email landing in spam, so I nearly missed it.

It does the job

Honestly it does the job, you post your dog's details and the alert goes out to people nearby. I tried two other sites before this one and they were clunkier. The alert took a while to show up for us because we'd used the wrong postcode first, so that was on us, but the support email got back to me the same day. Price is fine for what you get.

Better than the free noticeboards

Compared it with pinning flyers up and posting in the local Facebook group, and this beat both for reach. The flyers got ignored and the group posts got buried in an hour. Here the alert went to everyone nearby on the map and people actually responded. Setting up our dog's profile took a few minutes and the photo upload was easy. Worth it.

The paid alert felt dear

Paid for the extended alert radius on our spaniel and the price felt steep for what we got. The first sign up took a while because the payment page kept timing out, and I had to try twice. Once it went live it did reach the surrounding villages, which was the point. We just expected a bit more for the money given how long it dragged.

Needed something fast after the wander

Our terrier got out when the gate was left open and I needed help finding him quickly. A neighbour suggested posting here, so I set up the alert the same evening. The sign up was simple enough for me, which I was grateful for. Several people shared it and a lady two streets over saw him, so we got him back. Thank you to everyone who helped.

the extended alert radius

Went for the extended alert radius on our springer after she bolted during the fireworks. Signing up was quick enough, the page was clear about what each level covered. The alert went out fine but I did wonder whether the wider radius was worth the extra on the bill for a dog that had only gone a couple of streets.

does the job for a lost dog

Volunteer with a rescue group so I've used a fair few of these sites. This one is quick to get your alert out, and the reach is decent for the price. Our lurcher was found the same evening and I'd happily use it again.

Sorted, would use again

Yeah this is sorted, honestly. We had a cat go missing and the alert was live within a few minutes of signing up. Got a couple of sightings the same day, which was mad. Easy to use on the phone, no faff. Would use again if we ever needed to.

Lost dog found in under a day

We needed a way to get the word out fast after our lurcher slipped her collar on the common, and a friend pointed us to this site. Posting the alert took about ten minutes and I had the lost dog notice live before lunch. We had three sightings that afternoon and she was home the next morning, safe and muddy. The map view is what made the difference, people could see exactly where she'd been spotted.

the printable poster add on

Went for the printable poster add on after comparing a couple of options. It sits neatly alongside the online alert and saved me making a design myself. The poster came out a bit small on the printer I used so I had to resize it. Otherwise the whole thing took less than half an hour from start to finish.

Way quicker than the other site

Compared it with the other lost pet site my mate uses and this was way quicker to get live. The other one made me verify my email twice and fill in a form about my postcode. Here I was done in about five minutes from my phone on the bus. Alerts went out straight away when I hit publish.

a helpful service in a difficult moment

I must admit I was rather flustered when our Labrador went missing from the garden, and the sign up was far simpler than I had feared. The site asked only what was needed and the alert was live before I had finished my cup of tea. The people on the other end replied to my query the same afternoon, which I thought very considerate given the circumstances. I would certainly use it again should the need arise.

cheaper than a vet visit

We compared it with paying a tracker company and this was far cheaper for what we needed. The alert just went out to people nearby with the dog's photo and details, no subscription to remember. It cost less than a bag of food and we had our dog back in two days. Cheap enough to be a no-brainer.

paid for the premium alert

Bought the premium alert on Tuesday after our beagle went missing from the back garden. Paid through the app, took about a minute. Notification went out to the local area straight away, we got a couple of calls by teatime. Still waiting to see if she turns up but the alert itself worked fine on my phone.

Does the job for a lost dog

Rescue group I volunteer with uses this for lost dog alerts, so I know it pretty well. The verdict is it's good for getting the word out locally quickly. Only downside is the duplicate alerts you sometimes get if you edit a listing. Otherwise the reach is solid.

better reach than leaflets

Compared it with printing leaflets and handing them out round the estate, and this reached far more people in a single evening. The leaflets only got a few neighbours and the alert pinged to everyone nearby. Setup was quick and I didn't need to pay anything extra for the basic listing. Would go with this again.

needed it fast, took a bit long

Needed to post a lost dog alert straight away, so I was on my phone in the car park. The sign up took longer than I wanted because it asked for the same details twice and the app kept logging me out. Once it was live it was fine and got a few sightings. Would have liked it quicker when I was in a panic.

Sorted in an evening

Our husky went over the fence and this site had us sorted in an evening. The alert went live, the map filled up with sightings, and we used the details to narrow down where to search. Tidy interface, easy to follow on a laptop. Would be my first port of call again.
