I would say this is a sound product for the money. I was after something to take over the passwords I had written in a notebook, and the import from my browser went smoothly. The guidance on setting up a master password was clear and patient, which I appreciated, and it has done everything I hoped.
Read moreI was looking at this against a rival manager that's cheaper and simpler to set up. The sign-up was fine but the browser extension kept asking me to log in again on sites I'd just visited. Support took nearly four days to reply to my ticket and by then I'd moved everything across to the other one.
Read moreI went for the family plan so my wife and both kids could use the same vault, and it works out cheaper than buying three separate managers. The shared folders are handy for the broadband and streaming logins. Setting up the others took about ten minutes each. I check the renewal every year but so far it's been good value for what we get out of it.
Read moreCompared it with the spreadsheet I'd been using for years and this is far less faff, the autofill on the browser extension actually works on most sites I use and the vault syncs across my laptop and phone without me doing anything. Only niggle is the mobile app takes a second to unlock sometimes.
Needed a proper manager after one of my old accounts was caught up in a leak. I've been with them a good few years now and the vault has been steady. Support took a while to reply the one time I wrote in about a recovery problem, but it was sorted in the end.
Bit of a faff to get the browser extension working at first but once it's on it's good. Autofill works on most of the sites I use and the price is fine for a student budget. Would happily keep paying for it.
