I bought the printed workbook pack to go alongside the online sessions. The pages are sturdy and the layout is clear, which made revision much easier. I've already recommended the pack to a friend who is starting next term.
Read moreI bought the twelve week conversation course in the spring. The lessons were not quite what the page described, with far less of the speaking practice I'd been promised. It was a shame, as I'd been looking forward to it.
Read moreAs someone who has taught A level chemistry for years, I was sceptical, but the tutor I was matched with clearly knew the mark schemes for the current specification. What stood out was that the feedback on my student's practice papers referenced specific command words, which is more than most platforms manage. The booking calendar is simple too, so I can fit sessions around my own timetable.

Compared with the other platforms I've tried, the sessions are a step ahead on quality for the money. The tutors prepare properly and feedback arrives the same day. I'd say it is the best option I've found for this kind of work.
Compared with the bigger online agencies I've used, this is far more focused on what actually helps. The tutors know the subject well and the lessons stay on track. Booking and rescheduling took seconds, which I appreciated.
I bought the mock exam pack before my driving theory test. Each paper matched the real format closely and the answers were explained properly. I've been using them for a few months now and they've held up well.
Had a look at a few tutoring sites before picking this one, and the thing that got me was that you can see the tutor's availability before you pay anything. Booked a Thursday evening session for my son's maths and the tutor was on time and clearly knew the GCSE syllabus well. He's already asked to book another one for next week, which is more than I can say for the last place we tried.
Really good, I'd use it again. Signed up on my phone on the bus and it took about two minutes, booked a lesson for later that night. Tutor turned up on time and the video link worked first go, no faff.
I've been using them for my weekly reading group sessions for about six years now. Renewals have always been painless and the tutors have stayed consistent. The price has crept up a little but the quality has kept me on board.
I must admit I was rather dreading the sign-up process, having had poor experiences elsewhere, but the thing that impressed me most was how plainly the steps were laid out on the page. The tutor who took my first lesson was patient and courteous, and didn't rush me through the basics of using the online classroom. I'm very glad I persevered with it.
