I bought the printed workbook pack to go alongside the online sessions. The pages are sturdy and the layout is clear, which made revision much easier. I've already recommended the pack to a friend who is starting next term.
Read moreI bought the twelve week conversation course in the spring. The lessons were not quite what the page described, with far less of the speaking practice I'd been promised. It was a shame, as I'd been looking forward to it.
Read moreAs someone who has taught A level chemistry for years, I was sceptical, but the tutor I was matched with clearly knew the mark schemes for the current specification. What stood out was that the feedback on my student's practice papers referenced specific command words, which is more than most platforms manage. The booking calendar is simple too, so I can fit sessions around my own timetable.
Read moreMy mum has been struggling with her online banking and wanted to get better at using it. I signed her up for a short course on the basics. The sessions were easy to follow and the tutor was very patient with her. The only small niggle was that the reminder emails arrived late, so we missed one session.
Compared to the platform I used last year, this feels a bit more organised. The booking page is cleaner and I like seeing the tutor's availability up front. The session reminders could come a bit earlier, but otherwise it's been a good experience.
I needed a quick refresher on spreadsheet formulas before a job interview. The short module covered exactly the things I was rusty on. The video quality is a bit dated and the quiz is clunky on a phone, but it did what I needed.
I needed help with my statistics module at uni and this seemed the cheapest option. The lessons are short and to the point, which suits me. The login took a few goes to work but it's fine now.
I needed help getting my small business accounts in order before the tax deadline. I'd tried two other tutors first and this was the most sensible option. The first tutor was a bit slow to reply to my messages, but once sessions started they were very practical.
I signed up for the video lessons on my phone during a commute. They load quickly and the pause button works well. A couple of lessons skipped and I had to reload, which was annoying, but otherwise it's been fine.
