cheaper than my bank for paying abroad

Compared with my bank, sending money to my supplier in Turkey through here cost me noticeably less, and I could see every charge before I hit send. The bank was adding a percentage on top of the rate and a flat fee, whereas this just shows one total. Setting up the payee took about ten minutes and the payment went through the next working day. For regular supplier payments it's the sensible option.

Needed a cheap way to pay a supplier

We needed to pay a supplier in Poland and our bank was charging a lot for the transfer. This came out cheaper and the supplier got the funds within a day. Nothing complicated, just does the job at a sensible cost.

been using them for years

We needed a way to send money abroad to my son in Australia every month and I've been using them for about six years now. Setting up the standing order was easy and the rate has always been fair compared with my bank. Never had a problem, the money lands when they say it will.

Sent my first transfer

I used them to send my first ever international transfer, a payment to my brother in India for his wedding deposit. I was nervous but the app walked me through each step and showed the exact amount he would get. It arrived the next working day, which was perfect.

pretty good actually

Pretty good, sent money to my mate in Spain and it got there quick. The app is clean and easy to use. Only thing is the fee showed up a bit later in the checkout than I expected, so I felt a bit tricked, but whatever.

Tried a few before this

Before this I tried two other transfer apps and got a bit of a runaround, so I was keen to find one that just worked. This one did. I paid my freelancer in Canada and it arrived on time.

been using them since uni

I've been using them since uni to send money home to my mum in Nigeria. Setting up the first transfer took a bit of time but the app has been reliable ever since. The money lands in her account almost every time within a day or so.

Better than two other options

I compared two other providers before settling on this one, and the main difference was the quoted rate which was a little better here. The transfer itself to my sister in France went through on time. The only small annoyance was that the reference field is limited in length, so I had to shorten my message.

Needed to pay my late wife's care home fees abroad

We needed to settle a balance owed to a care home in Spain where my sister is now living, and the bank would not handle it without a long form. I signed up here and the verification took a little while, but the team answered my questions politely. The payment reached the account without any trouble, and I am grateful for that.

Compared to the big banks

Compared to the big banks, the exchange margin here is tighter, which is what I was looking for on a regular payment to my supplier in Germany. The setup was a little fiddly, as the payee form wants lots of bank details, but once that was done each transfer went smoothly. The money arrived within the timeframe they gave.

Fine but the checks slowed things

Given how much I have used currency services over the years, this one does the basics well enough. Verification on my account was slow, though, and it held up my first transfer by almost a week while they asked for more documents. Once it was approved the transfer itself went through without any trouble.

Slow to reply when I had a question

Sent a transfer to my brother in Spain and it arrived fine, so no complaints there. The support reply took three days when I had a question about a held payment. Not the end of the world but it was frustrating when I needed an answer.

a clear way to pay my nephew abroad

I used the service to send a payment to my nephew who is working in Singapore, and I should say it was all very orderly. The screens explained each step, and I was grateful to see the amount converted before I committed. The funds arrived within two working days, which was perfectly satisfactory for what I needed.

the fee breakdown is clear

The fee breakdown before payment is what I noticed most, every charge is listed so there was no guessing. I sent a payment to a supplier in Portugal and it arrived in the expected window. The one thing I'd like improved is that the receipt email takes a while to come through after the transfer.

the rate was spot on

The rate shown at checkout was the one that applied when the transfer went through, which is not always the case with these services. I sent a payment to a contractor in Ireland and the amount matched exactly. Simple enough and no surprises.

quick and easy

Honestly the speed is the best bit, my transfer to my flatmate in Italy landed in like a day. App is simple and I didn't have to call anyone. Fees were lower than my banking app, so yeah, would use again for sure.

Fees are fine but the sign up took ages

The price is good, I paid less in total than I would have through my bank for a payment to my cousin in Ireland. What let it down was the identity check, which asked for a document twice and took the best part of a week to clear. Once I was in, sending the money was quick and the amount landed the next morning.

not as good as my old provider

I've used currency transfer services for work for a long time, and compared with my old provider the fees here are noticeably higher once you factor in the exchange margin. The sign-up took longer than it should have, with a document check that needed resubmitting. It works, but I'd look elsewhere first.

The company offers a desktop application alongside cloud profile storage and team features that allow workspace members to share profiles and manage access permissions. Dolphin Anty is sold as a subscription service and delivered as a download with online account management, so customers set up and manage their profiles without visiting a shop.
