Creative Crayons

booked the crayon session for my sister's birthday, she loved it. kids and adults all got stuck in and the staff kept everyone topped up with paper and wax. easy to book on the app, just pick a date and pay.

Honestly this was good value for the money. We booked a family crayon workshop for a wet Saturday and it kept the three of them busy for nearly two hours. The instructor was patient with my youngest who got a bit fed up at one point. Price was reasonable for the area and the booking page was easy to use. Would book again for sure when the weather turns.

Looked at a few other crayon workshops before picking this one, mostly because the prices were close and the reviews seemed decent. The session itself was lovely, two hours, all the materials were laid out ready and the tutor helped us pick colours for our mix. Booking was quick and the confirmation email came straight away. Would go again with the kids.

First time I'd ever done anything like this so I didn't know what to expect. The thing that struck me most was how relaxed the whole afternoon was, nobody rushed us and the staff kept checking we were getting on alright. I booked through the site with no trouble, got a reminder the day before and turned up to a table already set with paper and crayons. Came away with a crayon I'm quite proud of.

This is the best value we found for a team day after looking at four or five providers. Booking went through without any back and forth, the coordinator sorted the invoice the same day. The session itself was fun and the team actually talked to each other, which was the point. Would use them again for our summer event.

Compared it with buying a crayon making kit online and doing it at home, and this was more useful. The session gave the kids proper guidance and the finished pieces came out much better than our previous attempts. The price is fair for what you get and the staff were easy to deal with on the phone when I had a question about the date.

I had been meaning to try a crayon workshop for some time and my daughter encouraged me to book a place for the two of us. We were made very welcome on arrival and the tutor took care to explain each step clearly. I found the pace comfortable and the finished piece rather pleasing. We had a pot of tea afterwards which was a nice touch.

Needed something to do with my nan who was bored at home and this seemed a good shout. Booked it on the site without any drama. She got really into it and wants to go back. Staff were patient with her and didn't rush anything. Decent value too.

Booked a session as a first timer and the best bit was how hands on it was, you actually get to melt and pour your own wax rather than watching someone else do it. The sign up took a few days to get a reply about my date though, which was a bit annoying when I'd already told my mates. Once it was confirmed the session ran smoothly and the tutor was friendly. Price was fine for what you get.

I was most struck by the manner of the instructor, who was courteous and unhurried throughout. The session was well organised and the materials were laid out before we arrived. I have no complaints at all.

booked a crayon session for my little cousins birthday. the kids loved it honestly. only thing is the confirmation email got stuck in spam so i had to ring them to check the time, and the place was a bit more expensive than i thought it would be. they were nice on the phone though and it all went fine on the day. kids made loads of stuff.

Booked the birthday party package for my daughter's eighth. Money came out straight away and I got the confirmation within a few minutes. The crafting itself was fine, the kids made their own crayon designs and took them home. Good value for a group of ten, no complaints from the parents.

Compared it with the two other workshop places near us and this one is a bit pricier, I'll be honest about that. The sessions have been consistently good though, and the instructors know what they are doing. We have been booking the monthly sessions for over three years. The one niggle is that the waiting list for the popular dates fills up fast, so you have to be quick.

Verdict: this was the one we went for after trying three places for a hen do. The booking was quick and the team leader was good about adjusting numbers at the last minute. Everyone had a laugh and the instructor kept things moving. Good value for a group of eight.

Compared it with the paint your own places near us and this was a lot more hands on, which I liked. We tried two others before settling on this one because the reviews were so mixed. The instructor was good at explaining the wax techniques and the group stayed on track. The price was reasonable and the booking page showed exactly what was included.

We needed a gift for my brother's fortieth that was not another bottle of wine. Found this and booked a crayon making session for him and his mates. It was good value for what we paid, and the booking was easy as they took payment online and sent the details straight away. The session ran on time and the lads were surprisingly into it. Brother said it was the best present he had had in years.

We needed something to do with the grandchildren over the half term and a friend mentioned this place. We have been coming for about six years now, mostly for the holiday sessions. The staff remember the children by name, which I did not expect. Always a pleasant morning.

I booked a private session for my book club and the initial booking took rather longer to confirm than I had hoped. There was a fair amount of back and forth about the date before it was settled. The session itself was pleasant and the tutor was very accommodating once we were there. The price was in line with what I had expected for a group of this size.

Good value and easy booking, that is what we keep coming back for. We have been using them for the company Christmas session for about five years. The organiser sorts everything and there is very little for us to do. Staff are always helpful.

Compared it with the local agency we used last year and this was a fair bit cheaper for the same kind of workshop. The booking was simple enough, a couple of emails and the dates were confirmed. The only thing was the reminder email came the day before rather than a week ahead, which caught me out a bit. Otherwise good value for what we got.
