Compared to the cheaper one I had before this is miles better, the location updates don't lag and the battery warning actually fires before the thing dies. Signed up on the site in the evening, was set up by the morning. Only thing I'd mention is the app asks for permissions it doesn't need but once I'd said yes it has been reliable.

The location updates came through within a minute most of the time, which is more than I expected from something this cheap to run. I've used a few of these for keeping an eye on a car and this is the first one that hasn't dropped out for hours on end. The app is basic but it does the job and the alerts are quick.

We wanted something to know when our two teenagers get home from school, and I'd looked at three other options before picking this one. The setup took about ten minutes on my phone and the arrival alerts have been spot on every day since. Price was better than the others too.

I signed up for their basic monitoring plan last month because my dad has started wandering a bit in the evenings. Works fine now but I'd want to check it is definitely live before relying on it.

The verdict for me is that it's reliable and the alerts come through quickly, which is what counts. It is more expensive than some of the others I looked at, and the sign-up form asked for more details than I expected. Once that was done it worked straight away and support were helpful when I had a question about the billing date.

Honestly it's decent enough, the tracking is accurate and it's easy to use once you've got the hang of the settings. The monthly fee is on the high side compared to what I found elsewhere though, and I had to wait two days for the activation email to arrive. Not a disaster but worth shopping around first.
