Brooklands Kitchens

We needed a new kitchen fitted before putting the house on the market and time was tight. Looked at three firms and Brooklands were the only ones who could start within a fortnight. Plans were drawn up quickly and the fitters were tidy and punctual throughout.

Booked the full kitchen fitting through the site on Monday and the fitters turned up Thursday morning as promised, which I didn't expect. Survey guy was quick and didn't try to upsell me on worktops. Only niggle is the fitter ran over by about an hour on the second day and nobody let me know until he was already here, but the kitchen looks good and they tidied up after themselves. Would use again.

I was given a clear and prompt quote, which I appreciated. The fitting took a little longer than we were told, but the team were courteous and tidied up each evening. I am glad we chose them and the kitchen is a pleasure to use, so on balance it was a good experience.

Once the fitters started it was steady and they were polite, though the end date slipped by a week. Fine in the end, just slower than I'd like.

After that, the surveyor came out within the week, rang me the evening before, and the fitters were in and out on schedule. Only small niggle was the invoice took a few days to arrive.

Having fitted a few kitchens over the years I knew roughly what to expect and Brooklands came in a fair bit above the other quotes I got for the same spec. The design work was sound but the price for the fitting labour felt steep. Fitters did a neat job.
